Abstract:
A dishwasher (100) for washing dirty articles comprising: a rotating rack (1) configured to rotate counter-clockwise at a user-defined speed of 1 round per minute or ½ round per minute; a spray system (104) configured to dispense a jet stream of high speed water using a plurality of nozzles (106a-106n) from the bottom as well as top of the dirty articles placed on the rotating rack (1); a washing chamber (1b) that may be designed to enable washing of the dirty articles placed upon the rotating rack (1) using the spray system (104), wherein the washing chamber (1b) uses recirculating water; and a rinsing chamber (1c) that may be designed to rinse the washed articles with clean water supplied directly from a house water source; wherein a partition wall (29) between the washing chamber (1b) and the rinsing chamber (1c) prevents splash of water used in the respective chamber.
Abstract:
This invention provides methods of spray drying pharmaceutical powders from a vibrating nozzle at low pressures. The method can effectively spray dry thick or viscous solutions or suspensions to provide small uniform particles. The invention includes dry particle compositions prepared by methods of low pressure spraying from vibrating nozzles.
Abstract:
This invention provides methods and compositions to preserve bioactive materials in a matrix of powder particles. Methods provide high-pressure gas spraying and/or near supercritical spraying of formulations followed by drying in a stream of conditioned gas to form stable powder particles containing bioactive materials.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition suitable for administration to a subject, the composition comprising pharmacologically acceptable particulate material dispersed throughout a pharmacologically acceptable liquid carrier, the particulate material being maintained in the dispersed state by a steric stabilizer, wherein the steric stabilizer is a polymeric material comprising a steric stabilizing polymeric segment and an anchoring polymeric segment, one or both of which are derived from one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers that have been polymerized by a living polymerization technique, wherein the steric stabilizing polymeric segment is different from the anchoring polymeric segment, and wherein the anchoring polymeric segment has an affinity toward the surface of the particulate material and secures the stabilizer to the particulate material.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for managing a buffer memory in a packet switch that is shared between multiple ports in a network system. The apparatus comprises a plurality of slow data port interfaces configured to transmit data at a first data rate between a slow data port and the buffer memory and a plurality of fast data port interfaces configured to transmit data at a second data rate between a fast data port and the buffer memory. A first level arbiter is coupled to the plurality of slow data port interfaces. The first level arbiter chooses an access request of one the slow data ports and outputs the access request. A second level arbiter is coupled to the plurality of fast data port interfaces and to the output of the first level arbiter. The second level arbiter chooses an access request from among a plurality access requests from the fast data port interfaces and the access request from the first level arbiter, and forwards the chosen access request to the memory.
Abstract:
A method and composition for treatment of bacterial infections caused by gram negative or gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Rhodococcus equi, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Klebsiella oxytoca, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus influenzae, Proteus mirabilis, Enterobacter species, Serratia marcescens as well as those caused by Burkholderia cepacia, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Alcaligenes xylosoxidans, and multidrug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, using a formulation containing gallium (III), in a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or complex thereof.
