    Abstract: Provided is a coating apparatus where a coated object W is moved relative to an application nozzle 10 located above the coated object, and a coating liquid P is applied to a surface of the coated object via a slit-shaped discharge port 12 at a distal end of the application nozzle. In a coating liquid reservoir 11 storing the coating liquid therein, a coating liquid feeder 14 formed with a coating liquid holding recess 14a in a predetermined pattern shape is rotatably disposed at place above the slit-shaped discharge port. A partition member 13 for dividing the slit-shaped discharge port into plural discharge parts 12a along the longitudinal direction of the slit-shaped discharge port is disposed in the slit-shaped discharge port. The coating liquid feeder 14 is rotated to apply the coating liquid to the surface of the coated object via the discharge parts at places corresponding to the coating liquid holding recess.

    Abstract: Provided is an auxiliary burner for an electric furnace capable of increasing and homogenizing the heating effect of iron scrap by suitably and efficiently burning solid fuel along with gas fuel. This presently disclosed auxiliary burner 100 for an electric furnace comprises a solid fuel injection tube 1, a gas fuel injection tube 2, and a combustion-supporting gas injection tube 3 in the stated order from the center side, all arranged coaxially, and is characterized in that: a combustion-supporting gas flow path 30 of the combustion-supporting gas injection tube 3 is provided with a plurality of swirl vanes 4 for swirling the combustion-supporting gas, and the angle θ formed between the swirl vanes 4 and the burner axis is 5° or more and 45° or less.

    Abstract: A vapor circulation regeneration system is provided for utilizing a vapor by circulation and regeneration. The system includes at least: a liquefaction regeneration unit including a liquefaction space where the vapor of an object to be heated is liquefied and a heating part for maintaining a liquid-like state; a vaporization unit for heating the liquid-like material by means of a heating part so as to generate a vapor; a fluid communication part for establishing fluid communication between the liquefaction regeneration unit and the vaporization unit; a processing unit for processing an object to be processed by using the vapor; a return pipe for returning the vapor used in the processing unit to the liquefaction regeneration unit; a liquefaction regeneration temperature control part for controlling the temperature of the liquefaction regeneration unit; and a vaporization temperature control part for controlling the temperature of the vaporization unit. Then, the object to be heated is present in a solid state at ordinary temperatures, present in a vapor state and the liquid-like state in the liquefaction regeneration unit, present in the liquid-like state in the fluid communication part, present in the liquid-like state and the vapor state in the vaporization unit, and present in the vapor state in the processing unit and the return pipe.

    Abstract: In a heating furnace 10 where elongate workpieces fed into the heating furnace are sequentially transferred on fixed beams by walking beams from an inlet area to an outlet area, concaves to retain the workpieces are formed at least on the walking beams. A concave in the inlet area for heating the workpieces is increased in width in a transfer direction, while a concave in the outlet area where the heated workpieces are wholly heated to a uniform temperature and retained in position is formed in a corrugated configuration. Despite curving of an elongate workpiece being heat treated as transferred by walking beams in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the workpiece, this ensures that the curved workpiece is properly transferred and adequately corrected for the curving.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a nozzle structure for a hydrogen gas burner apparatus, capable of reducing an amount of generated NOx. A nozzle structure for a hydrogen gas burner apparatus, includes an outer pipe, an inner pipe disposed concentrically with the outer pipe, and a stabilizer configured to throttle a space between the outer pipe and the inner pipe.
