    摘要: A variable displacement pump includes a pump body defining first and second pools for introducing fuel/lubricant oil, and internal and external rotary members rotatably mounted on the pump body and cooperatively defining a space such that, during counterclockwise revolution, the fuel/lubricant oil is taken up from the first pool by sweeping of the space over the first pool, and is delivered to the second pool. A control slider is sleeved on the external rotary member, and has an actuated tooth moved by an expansion force in the second pool to counteract the external rotary member so as to reduce the volume of the space, thereby reducing delivery of the fuel/lubricant oil into the second pool. A biasing member is disposed to bias the actuated tooth towards the second pool.

    摘要: This invention relates to a process of making high stretch elastic knitted fabrics from (PTT) which comprises: (a) making a drawn textured yarn with an elongation to break of 30 to 60 percent by: (i) spinning a polytrimethylene terephthalate polymer into a partially oriented yarn, and (ii) draw texturing the yarn in a false-twisting texturing machine at a draw ratio of 1.05 to 2.0, and a yarn temperature of 50 to 200° C. using a either a contact heater or a non-contact heater, and (b) knitting the yarn into a fabric composed of intermeshing loops of the yarn wherein the stitch length is from 22 cm/100 stitches to 26 cm/100 stitches, and (c) scouring the knitted fabric, and (d) drying the fabric on a belt, and (e) dyeing the knitted fabric at atmospheric pressure by dispersing a dye and the fabric in water and increasing the temperature, and (f) finishing the dyed knitted fabric according to the specific procedure and (g) drying the fabric on a belt.

    摘要: This invention relates to making high quality, soft and relatively elastic nonwoven fiber webs from polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT). Staple PTT fibers are first manufactured. Usually, this involves spinning the polymer into fibers and then cutting them to a length of from 10 to 200 millimeters. Thereafter, the fibers are carded and hydroentangled. This combination of steps produces high quality PTT nonwoven fabrics, i.e., which are softer than fabrics from other materials, require less energy to hydroentangle, can be manufactured at higher carding rates, and have a higher dye yield. The staple polymers are first carded. This can be carried out in conventional carding machines such as roller top carding machines, layered carding machines, and flat top carding machines. The web is crosslapped to from 5 to 500 g/m2 basis weight web. Next, the webs are hydroentangled. This can be carried out in conventional textile hydroentanglement apparatus including water jet injection, dewatering or vacuum boxes, a filtration, a water removing system, a perforating unit, drying, and winding. Special apparatus and process conditions for the hydroentanglement of PTT include lower water jet pressure needed than the normally used for PET and nylons.

    摘要: A semiconductor chip package with reduced cross-talk between adjacent signals in a layer of a carrier is disclosed. A first pair of conductors for carrying a first signal is provided in a layer of the carrier. A second pair of conductors for carrying a second signal is provided adjacent to the first pair of conductors in the layer, where the first and second pairs of conductors are configured such that cross-talk between the first and second pairs of conductors is substantially minimized, without increasing the size of the package. The height of the first pair of conductors is shorter than the second pair of conductors. Alternatively, the first and second pairs of conductors are configured so that they evenly affect each other. The chip package thus reduces the cross-talk without compromising the density of the interconnections in the package or resulting in an increase in the size of the package.

    摘要: This invention is a spin draw process for making partially oriented yarn from polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) which comprises the steps of: (a) extruding and spinning PTT in forming a monofilament or multifilament yarn therefrom, (b) heating the yarn by contacting it with a first pair of godets moving at a speed in and at a temperature set to give a yarn temperature above the glass transition temperature and less than the cold crystallization temperature of PTT, (c) drawing the yarn between the first godet pair and a second pair of godets moving at a speed and a temperature of from 45 to 120° C. and having a draw ratio of 0.7 to 3.0, and (d) winding the yarns at the speed of 1 to 15% less than that of the second godet pair at a yarn temperature less than the glass transition temperature of PTT yarn.
