Abstract:
An integrated transmission circuit and method for transmitting output data to a chipset via a transmission interface are provided. The integrated transmission circuit includes a first application circuit, a second application circuit, a media access control (MAC) circuit, and a physical layer (PHY) circuit. The first application circuit is used for receiving and processing first data to output first processed data. The second application circuit is used for receiving and processing second data to output second processed data. The MAC circuit is coupled to the first application circuit and the second application circuit, and used for encoding the first processed data and the second processed data so as to output encoded data. The PHY circuit is coupled to the MAC circuit to receive the encoded data so as to output the output data to the transmission interface.

A power-saving device and method are applicable to a first electronic device having at least one connection interface, and the first electronic device is coupled to a second electronic device via a bus. The power-saving device includes a detection circuit, a power control circuit, and a connection control circuit. The detection circuit is coupled to the connection interface, to detect a load state of the connection interface and generate a detection signal. The power control circuit controls power supplied to the first electronic device via the bus in response to a state of the detection signal. The connection control circuit controls a connection state of the bus according to the detection signal.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a method for production of polyhydroxybutyrate-co-polyhydroxyvalerate (PHBV) by recombinant Escherichia coli harboring plasmid containing both phaCAB and prpE. Different percentage of hydroxyvalerate can be obtained from the recombinant E. coli when cultivated in the medium containing different concentrations of propionic acid. In this patent, we provide a method that integrated all of the genes (i.e. phaCAB, vgb and prpE) required for PHBV production into a single plasmid. The plasmids were then transformed into an E. coli host. Results showed that PHBV can be produced by this recombinant E. coli, and the ration of HV to HB in the co-polymers can be regulated by addition of different concentrations of propionic acid in the medium. The percentage of HV in the co-polymers can be adjusted from about 3% up to more than 35%.

An online calibration method and device for a universal serial bus system is disclosed in the present invention. The method comprises following steps: providing a plurality of chirp JK pairs; detecting the plurality of chirp JK pairs, and loading a power on a terminal resistor of a USB device end of the universal serial bus and its coupled to a terminal resistor of a USB host end of the universal serial bus; detecting a voltage level variation of the chirp JK pair; and processing the online calibration according to the voltage level variation to maintain the voltage level within a preset range.

The present invention relates to a method of producing polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) using Bacillus sp. with succinate as a carbon source. The PHAs comprise more than 95% of poly(3-hydroxyvalerate-co-4-hydroxyvalerate) (P3HV-co-P4HV).
Abstract:
A control chip of a card reader providing at least one card detection pin for detecting memory cards connected to corresponding read/write interfaces. The card detection pin is for the prevention of mutual interference caused by the memory cards connected with shared pins of the control chip. The card detection pin of the memory card may be used for the detection of another memory card being inserted into or pulled out from a read/write interface when the control chip of the card reader is accessing a memory card. An interference-acknowledgement signal is generated for the prevention or correction of accessing errors.

A dual-interface card reader module is disclosed including: a card accessing circuit; a power controller for providing a charging current to a USB device; an overcurrent detector coupled with the power controller for generating an overcurrent notice when the charging current is greater than a current threshold; and a control circuit coupled with the card accessing circuit and the power controller for accessing a data storage card via the card accessing circuit and instructing the power controller to reduce its electricity output to lower the charging current when receiving the overcurrent notice.

Abstract:
A control apparatus for accessing a memory card includes a bus, a detecting circuit, and an adjusting circuit. The bus is regarded as a signal transmission line between the control apparatus and the memory card. The bus has a power signal transmission line for providing the memory card with a power signal. The detecting circuit detects an operating status of the control apparatus and generates an indication signal when the operating status exceeds a predetermined operating range. The adjusting circuit is coupled to the bus and detecting circuit, and is utilized for adjusting a current passing through the power signal transmission line according to the indication signal without closing the power signal transmission line thereby making the operating status operated within the predetermined operating range.
