摘要: The present invention provides coated films and packages formed from such films. In one aspect, a coated film comprises (a) a multilayer polymeric film having opposing facial surfaces, wherein a first facial surface has a root mean square surface roughness of at least 80 nm when measured using image analysis with an atomic force microscope and wherein a second facial surface has a root mean square surface roughness of less than 80 nm when measured using image analysis with an atomic force microscope; and (b) a coating on at least a portion of the first facial surface, wherein the coating comprises polyurethane, wherein the film comprises at least one of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or polyamide, and wherein the coated film has a Zebedee clarity of at least 2% when measured according to ASTM D1746/15 in the coated portion of the first facial surface.

摘要: A polyethylene-based composite film comprising a core layer, a first skin layer and a second skin layer, the core layer being positioned between the first skin layer and the second skin layer, wherein the core layer comprises a polymer blend of a high density polyethylene having a density of 0.940-0.970 g/cc and a melt index of 2-10 g/10 min, and a low density polyethylene having a density of 0.910 0.925 g/cc and a melt index of 0.1-1 g/10 min, wherein the first skin layer comprises greater than 50%, by polymer weight of the first skin layer, of an ethylene-based polymer comprising at least 50 wt. % units derived from ethylene, and wherein the ethylene-based polymer has a density of 0.900 0.920 g/cc and a melt index of 1-10 g/10 min, and wherein the polyethylene-based composite film has an overall density of 0.930-0.950 g/cc.

摘要: The present invention provides all liquid, two-component foam forming compositions for forming fire-resistant rigid polyurethane foams comprising a chlorine-free liquid flame retardant (FR) additive. The compositions comprise a polyisocyanate component and, as a separate component, a polyol component of a blend of one or more high hydroxyl functional aromatic polyester polyols and one or more low hydroxyl functional aromatic polyester polyols, a novolac polyether polyol, a trimerization catalysts, a liquid FR additive, preferably, one FR additive, more preferably, a halogen free FR additive, and water, or water and a physical blowing agent as a blowing agent. The low hydroxyl functional aromatic polyester polyols enable the provision of readily processible, all liquid polyol components having a low viscosity as well as ASTM E84A Class A rated rigid polyurethane foams.

摘要: A polyethylene-based multi-layer film, which is particularly useful as a greenhouse film, is provided. The multi-layer film contains an ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer composition having a Comonomer Distribution Constant (CDC) in the range of from 75 to 200, a vinyl unsaturation of less than 0.15 vinyls per one thousand carbon atoms present in the backbone of the ethylene-based polymer composition; a zero shear viscosity ratio (ZSVR) in the range from 2 to 20; a density in the range of from 0.903 to 0.950 g/cm3, a melt index (I2) in a range of from 0.1 to 5 g/10 minutes, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) in the range of from 1.8 to 3.5.
