摘要: Disclosed herein are computer-implemented medical ultrasound imaging methods, and systems for performing the methods, that comprise forming a first frame of an ultrasound image sequence with high image quality; forming at least one frame of the ultrasound image sequence with reduced image quality; forming a second frame of the ultrasound image sequence with high image quality; and improving the quality of the at least one frame of the ultrasound image sequence with reduced image quality using the first and/or the second frames of the ultrasound image sequence with high quality. In some cases, the improvement of the quality of the at least one frame of the ultrasound image sequence with reduced image quality is achieved by application of machine learning.

摘要: A method for cross-referencing of 2D ultrasound scans of a tissue volume comprises generating first and second 2D representations of a target anatomy, respectively, from first and second series of 2D ultrasound images of the tissue volume generated. The method includes generating first and second simulated 2D representations of the target anatomy, respectively, from the second and first series of 2D ultrasound images. The 2D and simulated 2D representations are processed to at least substantially match pixel positions in the 2D and simulated 2D representations associated with the target anatomy. The method includes determining first and second correspondence transformation matrices from the processed 2D and simulated 2D representations, and using the first and second correspondence transformation matrices to determine, for a location in the second series of 2D ultrasound images associated with the target anatomy, a corresponding location in the first series of 2D ultrasound images.

摘要: A method may include generating a series of two-dimensional (2D) ultrasound images of the tissue volume associated with a plurality of positions along a scanning direction of the tissue volume; estimating, for each pair of consecutive 2D ultrasound images of the series of 2D ultrasound images, a distance between the positions associated with the pair of consecutive 2D ultrasound images based on a classification of a difference image generated from the pair of consecutive 2D ultrasound images using a deep neural network to produce a plurality of estimated distances associated with the plurality of pairs of consecutive 2D ultrasound images, respectively; modifying the number of 2D ultrasound images in the series of 2D ultrasound images based on the plurality of estimated distances to produce a modified series of 2D ultrasound images; and rendering the 3D ultrasound image of the tissue volume based on the modified series of 2D ultrasound images.

摘要: Described herein are methods and systems useful in the fabrication of ultrasound transducer devices. Fabrication of ultrasound transducer devices can comprise manipulation of components having extremely small cross-sectional thicknesses, which can increase the risk of damage to the components. For example, inadvertent application of forces sufficient to damage such components is a significant risk during fabrication steps. As described herein, the risk of damage to an ultrasound transducer device component having a small cross-sectional thickness, such as an ultrasound microelectromechanical system (MEMS) wafer, can be reduced by partially or completely coating or filling all or a portion of the component with a stabilizing material, for example, prior to subjecting the component to forces associated with manipulation of the component during the fabrication process.
