    摘要: A process comprising contacting 1-butene and one or more alpha-olefins under polymerization conditions in the presence of a catalyst system obtainable by contacting: (A) a metallocene compound of formula (I) wherein: M is an atom of a transition metal; p is an integer from 0 to 3; X, same or different, are hydrogen atoms, halogen atoms, or an hydrocarbon group; L is a divalent bridging group; R1 and R3 are hydrocarbon groups; R2 and R4 are hydrogen atoms or hydrocarbon groups; T1 and T2, equal to or different from each other are a moiety of formula (II), (III) or (IV): wherein: R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9, equal to or different from each other, are hydrogen or hydrocarbon groups; and (B) an alumoxane or a compound able to form an alkylmetallocene cation.

    摘要: A masterbatch composition comprising (1) 10-50 wt % of a crystalline propylene homopolymer and (2) 50-90 wt % of a blend consisting of (a) a copolymer of ethylene and one or more C4-CIO a-olefin(s), containing 10-40 of C4-CIO a-olefin(s), and (b) an amorphous copolymer of propylene and ethylene. Copolymer (b) has an ethylene content from 20-70 wt %, and an intrinsic viscosity value of the xylene-soluble moiety of from 2.2 to 3.5 d/Lg, this value being equal to 0.8 to 1.2 times the intrinsic viscosity value of the xylene-soluble moiety of copolymer (a). The weight ratio of copolymers (a)/(b) is from 3/1 to 1/3. Polyolefin compositions comprising the said masterbatch composition are suitable for the manufacture of automotive parts.

    摘要: Process for cross-linking polypropylene, propylene copolymers, polyethylene, ethylene/propylene and ethylene/propylene/diene elastomeric copolymers and mixtures of said elastomers with above said thermoplastic polyolefins, which consists in modifying the polymer in the molten state, by the addition of 0.01%-10% by weight of carboxylic acid, possibly in the presence of a generator of radicals and by the subsequent salification with metal ions of the thus grafted carboxylic groups. The polymer products thus obtained display considerably improved characteristics under heating. In particular, there are obtained improved processability and elastic recovery characteristics for thermoplastic rubbers.
