摘要： The invention provides a process for working up glycol-containing aircraft deicers, by (1) removing the suspended impurities from the used aircraft deicer, (2) treating the product thus obtained in such a way that the thickeners present therein are no longer capable of gel formation, (3) before or after step (2) establishing a pH of >7, (4) and then fractionally distilling off the glycols.

摘要： Cosmetic, dermatological and pharmaceutical compositions containing quaternary ammonium compounds, particularly for hair-treatment, require low setting points, good solubility and dispersibility in aqueous media and a low flash point. It has now been found that such compositions can be formulated with quaternary ammonium compounds essentially free of short-chain alcohols such as isopropanol. The novel composition comprises: a) at least one quaternary ammonium compound and b) at least one branched alcohol having 8 to 36 carbon atoms or a mixture of at least one branched alcohol and at least one unbranched alcohol having 8 to 36 carbon atoms.

The invention provides compositions comprising a) at least one quaternary ammonium compound, b) at least one branched alcohol having 8 to 36 carbon atoms or a mixture of at least one branched alcohol and at least one unbranched alcohol having 8 to 36 carbon atoms, and c) at least one polyhydric alcohol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms. The resulting compositions have a low setting point or melting point, good solubility and dispersibility in aqueous media and a low flash point.
