    摘要: A telemetric tibial tray includes a lower plate that defines a plurality of cylindrical transducer cavities having circular load diaphragms. An upper plate is attached to the lower plate through support posts projecting from the load diaphragms. The support posts have a circular cross-section and a diameter of about 5.0 mm. The lower plate further defines wiring channels communicating between the transducer cavities and a central cavity housing the circuit board for the telemetric tray. The wiring channels are arranged at a 45 degree angle relative to the sagittal plane of the knee joint in order to reduce the effects of the wiring channel intersection on the strain sensitivity of the tray. Each transducer cavity includes a radial strain gage array with four pairs of radially aligned strain gages, each pair aligned at a 45 degree angle relative to the sagittal plane of the knee joint. Each pair of strain gages includes an inner gage positioned at the point of maximum positive micro-strain across the diaphragm when loaded, and an outer gage positioned at the point of maximum negative micro-strain, to thereby increase the differential strain measured by the gages and increase the strain sensitivity of the tibial tray.

    摘要: An implant component adapted for bone attachment or replacement is molded from a feed stock which contains a soluble major binder, a backbone binder and structural powder material. After the feed stock is injection molded to form a compact or preform, the major binder is removed from the green article, leaving a structure of interconnected porosity or texture, while the backbone binder remains until the component is sintered. Preferably, the amount of the soluble binder is set to increase the porosity, or reduce the stiffness, of the finished component, thus introducing a biocompatible or growth-enhancing level of porosity or stiffness during the molding process. In further or alternative embodiments, the component may be injection molded onto or about a solvent-leachable spacer preform and/or adjacent to another injected or molded portion of the component which serves as a structural body, frame or shell. In these cases, all or a part of the molded portion may be formed with a conventional precision powder molding feed stock to achieve a high packing density/low shrinkage frame or support for the spacer preform or additional porous molding. The invention also includes constructions wherein the component body is injection molded against or about a support core or plate to form a hybrid article. The resulting implant component is unitized by the sintering process into a single article having the desired dimensions, strength and porosity.

    摘要: Described is a last stage decoder that generates a local word line signal within a bank of a single-ported memory cell array structure. The decoder inputs predecoded global row address signals, as well as predecoded local row address signals. In order to generate the local word line signal, and thus access a memory cell within a given bank, both one predecoded global row address signal, as well as one predecoded local row address signal must be present. The predecoded local row address signal turns on a pass gate transistor, and allows the predecoded global row address signal to pass through the pass gate transistor and create the local word line signal.
