摘要: An internal combustion engine is provided having at least one turbocharger having a compressor and an exhaust gas turbine, at least two actuating members for controlling a boost pressure by the compressor, a measuring device for measuring at least one measurement signal, and a control device adapted to actuate the actuating members by varying a degree of opening of the actuating members. The control device of the internal combustion engine is configured to calculate a total degree of opening of the actuating members necessary to achieve a desired boost pressure provided by the compressor. This is in dependence on the at least one measurement signal. The control device is also configured to determine the total degree of opening split between each of the at least two actuating members, and to control each of the actuating members according to its individual degree of opening to reach the desired boost pressure.

摘要: A tool for machining a groove of a rotation-symmetric component, preferably a piston of an internal combustion engine, is provided. The machining is carried out by a rotation of the tool around an axis of symmetry of the rotation-symmetric component to be machined. The tool includes at least one arm disposed in such a way that a circumference of the rotation-symmetric component can at least be partially enclosed. Also, a machining device for machining of the groove is provided on the at least one arm. At least one adjusting device is provided. With the help of the at least one adjusting device, a contact force on the rotation-symmetric component of the at least one machining device can be selected. Further, the tool includes an adjusting device with which the tool can be adapted to different diameters of a rotation-symmetric component.

摘要: A combustion engine with at least one injector for the injection of liquid fuel into at least one combustion chamber is provided. The injector can be regulated by means of a regulating device through an actuator triggering signal, wherein the at least one injector has an outlet opening that can be closed by means of a needle. An algorithm is contained in the regulating device, which receives as an input value at least the actuator trigger signal, and which calculates via an injector model the mass of liquid fuel transferred via the outlet opening of the injector. The regulating device compares by means of the injector model, the calculated mass with a required target value ref of the mass of liquid fuel, to correct the actuator trigger signal.

摘要: In a method of controlling a dual fuel engine in which power in the form of a first gaseous fuel and in the form of a self-igniting second fuel is fed to at least one combustion chamber, a knock signal representative of the combustion chamber is detected. When a knock signal indicating a knock of at least a first intensity is detected, the amount of first fuel fed to the combustion chamber of the engine is increased, the increased introduction of power into the combustion chamber caused by the increase in the amount of first fuel being compensated by a corresponding reduction in the power contribution of the second fuel. When a knock signal indicating a knock of at least a second intensity greater than the first intensity is detected, the amount of first fuel is reduced.
