摘要: Documents to be accessed over a computer network are stored in network data storage such that each document is associated with a document archive and a task is associated with each stored document. An escalation list is created for each task and is associated with the document archive so as to specify an ordered list of escalation items to be satisfied until fulfillment of the task. When a parameter associated with each escalation list item has been satisfied, process operations associated with the next escalation list item are performed. Fulfillment of the task results in appending a verification of task fulfillment to the document archive.

摘要: Messages from a network are processed so that each received message is received in one of a plurality of message formats, the content of each message is determined, and a network destination to which the message will be directed is selected, based on the determined message content. The message can be transformed to encompass a variety of format changes. Once content of the message is determined, if image data is detected in the message, then image analysis on the image data can be performed to detect message content that is used in selecting a destination. It can be determined if the message has been received for greater than a predetermined time limit without being directed to a selected destination and, if so, a notification action can be performed if the predetermined time limit has been exceeded.

摘要: A compression rate is selected for a data file representing an image wherein an image source and an image characterization is identified. Selection of a compression rate can be based upon the image source and the image characterization. The image source can be medical imaging device such as x-ray, CT scan, MRI, mammogram, sonogram, or other types of images. The image characterization can be an anatomical content of the image, a purpose of study of the image, or a diagnostic value of the source of the image.

摘要: This invention is directed to an improvement in a process for producing high-purity fluorinated peroxides typically formed by the reaction of a carbonyl fluoride with a hypofluorite. The improvement resides in a simplified process for the synthesis and recovery of high purity fluorinated high purity peroxide product and comprises the steps: (a) reacting the carbonyl fluoride with the hypofluorite under conditions such that a gaseous reaction product comprised of the fluorinated peroxide and unreacted carbonyl fluoride which is essentially free of unreacted hypofluorite is formed; (b) removing unreacted carbonyl fluoride and by products from the gaseous reaction product under gas phase conditions thereby generating a gaseous product stream containing the fluorinated peroxide; and then, (c) collecting the fluorinated peroxide from step (b) in gas phase.

摘要: Advanced techniques for programmable photolithography provide enhanced resolution and other aspects of a photolithography system. A combination of multiple exposures and movement of a substrate relative to a programmable mask in a photolithographic system accomplishes single shutter exposure overlaps to create features smaller than the single shutter intensity profile, i.e., sub-pixel resolution. Advanced timing adjustment capabilities are used to modulate the light so that no unwanted features are created. Additionally, a library of shapes may be used, one shape on each pixel, with the small features of the shapes created by phase shifting. Patterns are built up by multiple exposures with relative movement of the mask and resist so as to place each shape from the library where it is needed on the resist. Electro-Optic phase shifting material may be applied to the shutter so as to adjust the single shutter intensity profile, or to adjust the interaction of adjacent shutters. An apodizing mask may be used to engineer the wavefronts of the light striking the resist in such a manner to achieve better resolution.

摘要: Compressing a data file representing an image wherein one or more regions within the image are identified. At least one of the regions is selected and the data corresponding to the selected region is compressed at a different rate that the data corresponding to non-selected regions of the image. The different compression rates are selected to maintain a desired fidelity in an image reconstructed from the compressed data file. The different compression rates can be predetermined, selected by a user, or automatically selected. Compression rates can be based upon the type of image to be compressed such as x-ray, CT scan or MRI images, the structure that is being analyzed, parameters regarding the use of the image, system parameters such as storage capacity available, or bandwidth of a communication channel used to transmit the compressed file.
