    摘要: An apparatus and method for controlling a microwave oven using a bar code. The apparatus includes an operating panel provided on the front surface of the microwave oven, a bar code scanner installed in the operating panel and projecting light to the bar code attached to a package of food to obtain data of the bar code, and a main controller for controlling a cooking operation for cooking the food according to the data of the bar code obtained by the bar code scanner. The apparatus simply and rapidly performs the cooking of food using the bar code, increases the bar code recognition distance thereof, and is easily and economically operated.

    摘要: A microwave oven provides protuberances and a body latch for opening and closing a door therethrough. The microwave oven includes a door for opening and closing a cooking chamber accommodated in a main body, protuberances installed on the door for maintaining the door so as to close the cooking chamber, a body latch installed on the main body so that the protuberances are detachably engaged by the body latch, a door button installed on one side of the main body so that the door button is movable back and forth to allow the door to open and/or close for opening and closing the cooking chamber, and a door lever for converting horizontal force, applied to the door button, to vertical force, and transmitting the vertical force to the protuberances to release the protuberances from the body latch. A pressure portion is integrally formed with the door lever for pressing the contact points of safety switches, so that the door lever serves to press a monitor switch under the condition that the door lever is engaged by the protuberances and to transmit the force applied to the door button to the protuberances to release the protuberances from the body latch, thereby reducing the number of components of the microwave oven and simplifying the manufacturing and assembling procedure of the microwave oven.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for driving an electro-luminescence display panel capable of preventing an initial blinking phenomenon occurring at a power application is disclosed. In the method, a first electrode of the EL cell and a ground voltage source are opened during a first period from a turn-on time of a power source to shut off a current path of the EL cells. Then, the first electrode of the pixel matrix and the ground voltage source is shorted during a second period to form a current path such that the EL cells are light-emitted in accordance with a data supplied to the pixel matrix.
