    摘要: A method detects one or more cracks in a piezoelectric element interposed between a pair of electrodes and deforms according to a voltage applied thereto through the pair of electrodes. The method includes steps of applying a voltage at least at a resonance frequency of the piezoelectric element to the piezoelectric element through the pair of electrodes, measuring a dielectric tangent between the pair of electrodes under the applied voltage, and detecting if there are cracks in the piezoelectric element according to the measured dielectric tangent. The dielectric tangent of the piezoelectric element at the resonance frequency has a large peak or no peak depending on whether or not the piezoelectric element has cracks. Accordingly, the method easily and surely detects if the piezoelectric element has cracks according to the dielectric tangent of the piezoelectric element measured at the resonance frequency.

    摘要: A flexure comprises a metal base, an insulating layer, and first and second conductors. First and second openings are formed so as to extend longitudinally relative to the metal base. These openings are formed at predetermined intervals longitudinally relative to the metal base. The metal base comprises ground regions continuous in a longitudinal direction thereof, ladder portions extending transversely relative to the metal base, and band-like portions formed between the openings. The band-like portions are located so as to overlap a gap between the conductors when the metal base is viewed vertically thicknesswise from above. The band-like portions extend longitudinally relative to the metal base along the conductors. Junctions are formed between the ground regions and band-like portions.

    摘要: In a semiconductor device and a method of manufacturing the same, two floating gate electrodes are independently controlled with one control gate electrode. In the semiconductor device, the first floating gate electrode is formed on a channel region with a first gate insulating film therebetween, and the control gate electrode is formed on the first floating gate electrode with a first interlayer insulating film therebetween. The second floating gate electrode exists on the control gate electrode and has a portion extended above a semiconductor substrate and overlapping with a second impurity diffusion layer. A first impurity diffusion layer overlaps with an end of the first floating gate electrode. Thereby, writing, erasing and reading are effected on the two, i.e., first and second floating gate electrodes with one control gate electrode while maintaining the substantially same memory cell area as the prior art.
