    摘要: An image display apparatus includes an image processing circuit configured to generate an image signal based on input image data such that the image signal includes a main-image frame and a sub-image frame with luminance lower than that of the main-image frame. The image processing circuit includes a conversion circuit and a memory control circuit. The conversion circuit converts frame synchronization signals of respective frames such that the main-image frame has a longer horizontal scanning period than the sub-image frame. The memory control circuit switches, in a period in which the unconverted synchronization signal and the converted synchronization signal are both in a vertical blanking period, operation modes of two frame memories between writing and reading. The image display apparatus is capable of suppressing a visible disturbance in image quality and a reduction in the total image luminance of a moving image without increasing a frame memory transfer rate.

    摘要: An image display apparatus comprises: a display panel; and an image processing unit which divides one frame into a frame of a main image and N frame(s) of sub-image(s), and outputs a video signal that includes the frame of the main image and the frame(s) of the sub-image(s) to the display panel, wherein the image processing unit comprises: a brightness control unit which generates frames corresponding to the main image and the sub-images based on the same input image data, and relatively reduces the brightness of the frame corresponding to the sub-image with respect to the brightness of the frame corresponding to the main image; and a period setting unit which sets a length of respective horizontal scan periods so that the horizontal scan period in the frame of the main image is longer than the horizontal scan period in the frames of the sub-image.

    摘要: A composition for use as a self-locking agent is provided which comprises an aqueous dispersion of the following ingredients dissolved and dispersed in water: (a) a polyamide powder insoluble or slightly soluble in water, (b) an isocyanate compound, (c) a surfactant and (d) a water-soluble polyamide. The composition permits a polyamide resin layer of a smooth surface to be formed on a screw surface of a to-be-coated member. With use of the composition, it is possible to prevent slippage and sagging of the resin layer coated on the screw surface and improve the precision in resin coating processing.
