    摘要: [PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED] It enables any superior ether phospholipids to the conventional ones and a method for producing the same in an easy manner on a massive scale, in light of effects of treating and improving brain diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson disease, depression and schizophrenia, metabolic diseases such as diabetes, various infectious diseases, and immune disorders. [SOLUTION] Ether phospholipids are obtained from bivalve tissues such as clams and corbicula by extraction processing. The ether phospholipids exhibit significantly superior effects of the above as compared to the conventional ether phospholipids derived from chicken tissues.

    摘要: The present invention relates to uses of ether phospholipids in treating and preventing various diseases, including, but not limited to, neurodegenerative or brain diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, cognitive impairment, brain fatigue, Parkinson disease, depression, anxiety disorder, insomnia and schizophrenia; metabolic syndrome such as diabetes and obesity; various infectious diseases such as viral diseases; diseases related to inflammation; heart diseases, and immune disorders.     摘要: The present invention provides methods for quantifying an amount of plasmalogens in samples with high accuracy in an easy, convenient and inexpensive manner by using a hydrolysis processing to samples and a lipid extraction followed by the measurement using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD) or Mass Spectrometer (MS), a fluorescence plate reader or a plate reader. The present invention also relates to a method for examining a subject by using the above method, a biomarker for disease detection, a method for using the biomarker for the disease detection, as well as a kit for the disease detection.
