    摘要: We have discovered that phospholipids diundecanoyl (C11:0-C11:0) and dilauroyl (C12:0-C12:0) phosphatidylcholine (PC) act as agonists of the LRH-1 receptor. We have also shown that administration of these lipids to diabetic mice reduces blood glucose levels. On the basis of these discoveries, the present invention features compositions that include these lipids and structurally related lipids. Also featured are methods of treating metabolic disorders and inflammatory bowel disease, lowering blood glucose levels, and increasing LRH-1 receptor activity in a subject by administration of these lipids.

    摘要: Known cell lines derived from silkworm exhibit low propagation efficiency of BmNPV. Accordingly, systems using known culture cell lines derived from silkworms take a long time to establish recombinant viruses, and are not suitable for preparation of virus solutions with high titers. The present invention provides a cell line Bme21 (FERM P-20852) that is derived from a silkworm embryo and is highly susceptible to BmNPV or its variant having the same biological characteristics. The present invention also provides a method of producing a recombinant virus, a method of producing a recombinant protein, a method of increasing efficiency of recombinant virus production, and a method of increasing efficiency of recombinant protein production, using the cell line Bme21 or its variant.

    摘要: Provided is an organic EL device having a lower power consumption and high performance and enabling to display separate pictures on bidirectional screens as well as to display the same picture on the bidirectional screens, and a driving apparatus thereof. The organic EL device includes: a first organic EL panel for a unidirectional display; and a second organic EL panel for a unidirectional display, each of the first and second organic EL panels having a substrate, a first electrode, an emitting layer and a second electrode, wherein the first organic EL panel and the second organic EL panel are coupled so as to display pictures in bidirections. According to the present invention, a sufficient brightness can be obtained even under a low power. Also, since an opaque cathode is used, performance and transmittance are enhanced compared with the related art organic EL device using a transparent cathode.
