    摘要: In some implementations, windows can be displayed based on a global z-order. The global z-order can be maintained for all open windows. The global z-order can include windows that are not currently displayed. The global z-order can define a display order of windows across multiple workspaces. In some implementations, workspaces can be associated with respective levels. The workspace levels can be used to determine how to display windows associated with each workspace when multiple workspaces are displayed simultaneously.

    摘要: The invention discloses an electrical isolator circuit comprising: an input stage comprising a transmitter of an opto-isolator; and an output stage comprising: a receiver of the opto-isolator; an active circuit in series with the receiver between the receiver and a power rail of the output stage; a first resistor connected to an output of the active circuit, and an input for the application of a predetermined voltage to the active circuit, the output stage being configured such that a varying output voltage is developed across the first resistor in response to input of a high voltage AC signal to the input stage. Ideally the output stage is operable to clamp the voltage across the receiver at the level of the predetermined voltage, thereby allowing for an increase in the load resistor and variable output resistor without increasing the time constant to unacceptably having regards to switching requirements.

    摘要: A method and system of treating wastewater that can provide operating flexibility is disclosed. The system is operated with a sequencing batch reactor, which is typically cycling to any of fill, react, settle, decant, and idle stages, to treat the wastewater. The system can further utilize a membrane filtration system to further treat water from the sequencing batch reactor and produce suitable water. A solids-reducing system can be connected to the sequencing batch reactor and reduce an amount of biodegraded solids by converting the character or distribution of microorganisms population in the biomass.

    摘要: Computer cooling equipment for computer equipment comprises: a primary heat transfer circuit; a secondary heat transfer circuit containing a secondary heat transfer fluid, a secondary condenser cooled by the primary heat transfer circuit and a secondary evaporator for cooling the computer equipment; and is characterised in that the secondary heat transfer fluid is a volatile fluid. The secondary heat transfer fluid may be carbon dioxide. The cooling system is of particular use in power hungry applications such as cooling of computer servers, particularly of blade servers as it can produce a heat load dissipation of up to 100 kW, compared to 10 kW or less using conventional systems. Heat exchange cabinets, air conditioning systems and building elements using a secondary heat transfer fluid which is a volatile fluid are also disclosed.
