Abstract: A system and method are provided for detecting fraud and/or misuse of data in a computer environment through generating a rule for monitoring at least one of transactions and activities that are associated with the data. The rule can be generated based on one or more criteria related to the at least one of the transactions and the activities that is indicative of fraud or misuse of the data. The rule can be applied to the at least one of the transactions and the activities to determine if an event has occurred, where the event occurs if the at least one criteria has been met. A hit is stored in the event has occurred and a notification can be provided if the event has occurred. A compilation of hits related to the rule can be provided.

Abstract: A pluggable module system includes an electrical connector assembly having a cage member with a plurality of walls defining a receptacle. The cage member has an opening in a front thereof providing access to the receptacle and a latch proximate to the opening. A receptacle connector is received in the cage member proximate to a rear thereof and is accessible in the receptacle. A pluggable module is received in the receptacle and is mated to the receptacle connector. The pluggable module has a conductive shell and a retention post that extends from the conductive shell. The retention post engages the latch to secure the pluggable module in the receptacle. The conductive shell has grounding tabs that extend from the shell. The grounding tabs circumferentially surround the conductive shell.

Abstract: We describe a display system comprising an electrooptic display coupled to a display driver and including an induced voltage compensation circuit. The compensation circuit comprises a system to measure a voltage applied a common pixel electrode of the display, and one or both of: a system to measure a voltage swing on a pixel select line of the display, and a system to measure a change in voltage on the common pixel electrode due to a voltage induced on a pixel drive electrode of the display. The compensation circuit also includes a system to apply a voltage to the common pixel electrode, responsive to a combination of the measured applied voltage and one or both of the measured voltage swing and the measured change in voltage, to compensate for the induced voltage.

Abstract: A fluid dynamic body provides one or more fixed size escapelets through a foil body to reduce the induced and interference drag caused by trailing vortices and similar wake turbulence. The escapelets, which can be provided in both aerodynamic and hydrodynamic structures, such as wings, tail sections; rotary blades, guy wire frames, wing sails, and various underwater keels and wing keels. The escapelets transfer energy from an inlet located in the high-pressure surface of the foil or foil body to an outlet located in the lower-pressure surface, allowing energy that would normally form a vortex at the tip of the foil to be redirected and dissipated in a beneficial way. As a result, drag is reduced and fuel economy is increased. For example, in aircraft, escapelets can increase the authority of ailerons and similar flight control surfaces, allowing aircraft that were not previously spin recovery rated to become spin recoverable.
