    摘要: There is provided a dispenser suitable for dispensing medicament, particularly medicament for use in the treatment of respiratory disorders. The dispenser comprises a housing (1) having a support (5); a container (2), locatable within said housing (1), having an outlet (3), wherein said container (2) dispenses through said outlet (3) in response to movement of the container (2), relative to the housing (1); and an actuation indicator having an indexing mechanism (13, 43) actuatable by movement of the container (2) relative to the housing (1). A couple mechanism (13, 43) is provided which couples the indexing mechanism (13, 43) to the container (2) to compensate for any variation in pre-actuation positionings of the indexing mechanism and container.

    摘要: A fluid dispensing device for dispensing a fluid product having a dispensing member mounted for movement along an axis X-X from a first position to a second position which causes a dose of a fluid product to be dispensed, and a finger-operable actuator member movable in an actuating direction generally transverse to the axis to cause at least one cam surface thereof to cam the dispensing member from the first position to the second position. The at least one cam surface has a commitment section, oriented at a first angle to the axis selected such that a minimum actuating force is required to be applied to the actuator member to cause the at least one cam follower surface to ride over the commitment section onto the drive section. The commitment section of the cam surface is arcuate.

The fluid dispensing device comprises a body defining a cavity and a dispensing nozzle having a dispensing orifice, a fluid discharging device housed in the cavity, the fluid discharging device having a hollow casing defining a reservoir for containing a volume of fluid and a plunger slidingly engaged within the hollow casing, the plunger having a tubular portion which extends from a first end of the hollow casing for co-operation with the dispensing nozzle to enable pumped delivery of fluid from the reservoir to the dispensing nozzle, wherein the dispensing orifice of the dispensing nozzle is provided with a reversible stopper.

    摘要: A nozzle, for use in a fluid dispensing device, having a body defining a fluid flow channel which is shaped to impart acceleration and angular momentum to fluid passing therethrough, an inlet port formed in the body and defining an inlet to the channel, and an outlet port formed in the body and defining an outlet from the channel, wherein the fluid flow channel includes a swirl chamber having a plurality of swirl chamber segments, the swirl chamber being located between the channel inlet and the channel outlet, wherein the body is comprised of a mating assembly of a plurality of like component parts, each of the component parts providing one of the swirl chamber segments; wherein the fluid flow channel includes a plurality of inlets to the swirl chamber for feeding fluid into the swirl chamber and wherein each of the component parts provides one of the swirl chamber inlets; wherein the swirl chamber inlets are positioned to feed fluid into respectively different swirl chamber segments and wherein the swirl chamber segments are fed from one of the swirl chamber inlets provided by another of the component parts; and wherein each swirl chamber inlet is connected to the channel inlet by separate branches of the fluid flow channel.
