    摘要: A rotary machine, comprising: a stator assembly and a rotor assembly centered on a central axis; a magnetic bearing; and an auxiliary bearing including a first ring held in the stator assembly and a second ring delimiting a gap radially to the central axis relative to the rotor. The second ring is not rotating around the central axis in a primary operation mode and is dragged in rotation around the central axis in a secondary operation mode. The rotary machine includes a monitoring system for detecting a transition from the primary operation mode to the secondary operation mode. The monitoring system comprises a target formed on the second ring and a sensor unit fixed relative to the stator assembly. A bearing and a method for manufacturing a rotary machine are additionally disclosed.

    摘要: An assembly includes a rotating shaft supported with respect to a stationary housing by at least one active magnetic bearing presenting a mean radial air gap and at least one auxiliary bearing having first and second coaxially arranged annular surfaces is provided. One of the first and second coaxially arranged annular surfaces defines a clearance (E2) with one of the stationary housing and the rotating shaft, the clearance (E2) being less than the mean radial air gap and the other of the first and second coaxially arranged annular surfaces being integral with the other one of the stationary housing and the rotating shaft. The auxiliary bearing provides a first ball bearing and a second ball bearing having a misalignment with respect to each other in order to increase the starting torque.

The profile base is provided with a structural part and a holding limb which is formed as one piece therewith. The profile base includes a holding surface which faces away from the holding limb and opposite which lies an edge of a fabric top. With this mixer and method it is intended to achieve a rapid and predeterminable mixing of the fluids. For that purpose, a separating element which extends into a region of the mixing point in which the inlet channels run parallel to one another is provided. By this means the fluids can be kept separate from one another until their flow speeds virtually coincide in respect of value and direction. Only then are they brought into contact with one another.

    摘要: A seal includes a body and two lips. The body includes two walls defining a space with an opening. The lips have fixed ends respectively connected to the walls adjacent the opening. A movable end of the first lip is within the space. A movable end of the second lip extends across the opening towards the first lip fixed end. The movable end of the first lip includes a first end portion extending from the first lip fixed end along the first wall to a middle portion extending across the space to a second end portion extending along the second wall towards the second lip fixed end. The second end portion includes a hook section meeting the second wall and the second lip fixed end. The second lip movable end moves into the space and presses the hook section against the second wall to clamp the hook section.

The receiving space has an opening leading out of the sealing body. The seal includes first and second movable sealing lips each connected at one end to the sealing body on opposite sides of the receiving space and bridging the opening of the receiving space. The first lip is longer than the second lip. The sealing lips move in response to being contacted by the edge of the window as the window inserts into the receiving space such that upon the window being inserted into the receiving space the first lip adjoins the first side of the upper end of the window and adjoins the edge of the window and the second lip adjoins the second side of the upper end of the window.

    摘要: A profiled seal for sealing between a vertically sliding window pane and a roof frame of a convertible automobile comprises a length of profiled elastomer which is co- extruded with a metal reinforcement. The profiled seal has a three-dimensional shape and can be fixed to connection parts of the roof frame. A holding section having a U-shaped cross-section is part of the length of profiled elastomer and contains the embedded reinforcement which is likewise U-shaped in cross-section. A sealing section is formed laterally as one on a first limb of the holding section which can be placed in a self-clamping and sealing manner on an attachment flange. A foot formed as one on the first limb comprises on a first longitudinal edge adjacent to a free longitudinal edge of the first limb a longitudinal groove into which a dimensionally stable edge flange of a roof of the convertible engages.
