摘要： Along a plane sealing zone, a number of plastic film webs are sealed together under pressure and heat application. The plastic film webs run at equal or different distances from one another into the sealing zone and are guided over compression rolls. Between the compression rolls, which lie opposite each other in pairs, the plastic film webs are introduced and subjected to both pressure and heat. The plastic film webs are provided on one or both sides with sealing layers, which are incipiently melted by the action of heat, so that a sealing of the plastic film webs in layers one on top of the other occurs in the sealing zone.

摘要： A device and method of producing a multi-layer film composite is provided. In accordance with the device and method, a temperature-controllable or heatable roll serves as a sealing tool, on the circumferential surface of which a number of plastic film webs are sealed together under the application of pressure and heat. The plastic film webs come into contact with the circumferential surface of the roll at equal or varying distances from each other and are guided over pressure rolls. These pressure rolls are in contact with the circumferential surface of the heatable roll under pressure. The plastic film webs pass through the gaps between the pressure rolls and the heatable roll. The plastic film webs are alternately sealing layer-free or provided on one or both sides with sealing layers, which are fused by the action of heat, so that sealing of the laminated plastic film webs on the circumferential surface of the heatable roll occurs.

摘要： A temperature-controllable roller 1 is used as the sealing tool, on whose circumferential surface a plurality of plastic film webs are sealed together under the action of heat and pressure. The plastic film webs, which are conveyed about compression rolls, run at equal or different mutual distances onto the circumferential surface of the temperature-controllable roller. These compression rolls rest against the circumferential surface of the temperature-controllable roller and exert pressure onto the latter. The webs of plastic film run through the contact nips between the compression rolls and the temperature-controllable roller. The plastic film webs are provided on one or both sides with sealing layers, which are incipiently melted by the action of heat, so that a sealing of the plastic film webs in layers one on top of the other occurs on the circumferential surface of the temperature-controllable roller.

摘要： An apparatus for the continuous production of composite laminate bodies including panels and cylindrical pipes comprises a frame, a laminating mold, a sheet supply roller, a movable pressure roller, at least two preheating rollers and a heating device, wherein the pressure roller, preheating roller and heating device are mounted on the frame, the laminating mold is movable and is adjacent to the frame to form a laminating gap, and the heating device is provided near the laminating gap, so that the sheet travels from the sheet supply roller to the preheating rollers and then to the laminating gap where the sealing material on the sheet surface is heat melted just before being pressed against the laminating mold. By successive lamination of layers of sheet material over the last sheet of material or last section of film by selectively melting the sealing coating on the contact surface of the sheet of material with the heating device just prior to pressing the sheet of material against the laminating mold, an improved composite body having the desired level of thickness with improved load bearing capacity is obtained with increased time efficiency and substantial reductions in potential damages to the product. A process for producing composite bodies from layers of laminated sheets is also disclosed.

摘要： Process for producing an optical coupler for polymer optical waveguides by arranging the optical waveguides in the same sense and bundling them by means of a plastic shrink-on sleeve. In this process, two to 10.sup.5 polymer optical waveguides are arranged in the same sense and bundled and a plastic tube is put over the mixing region. Then a piece of plastic shrink-on sleeve is pushed over the plastic tube and the shrink-on sleeve is heated to a temperature at which it contracts. The shrinkage temperature of the shrink-on sleeve is inside the thermoelastic temperature range of the plastic tube. The optical waveguide bundle may be stretched during or after heating.
