    摘要: The present invention presents a method for setting up a QoS (Quality-of-Service) supported bi-directional tunnel and distributing L2VPN (Layer-2 Virtual Private Network) membership information for an L2VPN using an extended LDP (Label Distribution Protocol). In a network providing MPLS based L2VPN service, which includes a plurality of VPN provider edges (PEs), a plurality of VPN customer edges (CEs) connected to the PEs and a VPN DNS (Domain Name Service) server for managing PE information associated with a plurality of VPNs, a PE registers information associated with the VPN DNS server to provide the L2VPN service, and uses the extended LDP for QoS supported bi-directional tunnel setup and the extended LDP for QoS supported L2VPN membership information distribution. A VPN CE needs only a simple Layer-2 connection providing function for the L2VPN service.

    摘要: A moving picture expert group (MPEG)-2 transport stream (TS) multiplexer for an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) network adaptation. The MPEG-2 multiplexer for ATM network adaption includes media and timer processor, TS packet multiplex controller, buffer, and ATM network adaptation processor. The media and timer processor is initialized by an external clock and reset signal, receives signals DATA, WRITE and each module selection signal CHPSEL from an external processor to store the header of each TS packet, generates a TS packet by receiving data from a video/audio encoder, and thereby drives a timer with the clock signals. The TS packet multiplex controller multiplexes each TS packet provided from the media and timer processor or outputs an input/output controlling signal to multiplex. The buffer buffers TS-PDU transmitted from the TS packet multiplex controller. The ATM network adaptation processor processes a network adaptation using ATM adaptation layer type 5 to transmit the TS-PDU output to the ATM network.

    摘要: In the method for expanding an address for an Internet protocol in an Internet edge router and the record medium capable of being read through a computer having a record of a program to realize the inventive method, an address expanding system of IPv4 used by incorporating public network connection information in an IPv4 address is utilized, thereby, all services of the existing IPv4 can be accepted and an enlargement to a new service can be valid. That is, in such Internet edge router, the inventive method comprises the steps of defining public network connection information in an option class of an Internet protocol message; b) constructing a security & authentication (SA) module and an SA hierarchical protocol in a service terminal protocol in order to provide IP address information and a user authentication from a server having information of the existing public network subscribers by using the public network connection information, and constructing a connection information processing part to process the public network connection information; and c) receiving a message from a network interface and processing it, in the connection information processing part, whereby being applied to an Internet service system.
