    摘要： An apparatus and method for setting up Quality of Service (QoS) in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes, during an initial network entry, generating at least one static Service Flow (SF) by receiving a QoS profile from a Base Station (BS), if QoS change is requested for the SF, transmitting by a Mobile Station (MS) to the BS a service change request message which requests a service change and includes QoS change information, and by the BS, determining if the service change request is granted, and, if granted, transmitting a service change response message to the MS, and changing a QoS of the SF.

    摘要： A method of operating a base station and an apparatus for transmitting multicast data in a broadband wireless communication system are provided. The method includes receiving multicast data including a multicast Internet Protocol (IP) address from a source terminal, the multicast IP address being an address used in a network layer, and transmitting the multicast data to at least one terminal by including the multicast IP address to a control message of a Media Access Control (MAC) layer. The sending of the MAC layer control message including the multicast IP address includes, when a corresponding terminal is in an idle mode, sending a paging message including at least part of the multicast IP address, after sending the paging message, sending a resource allocation MAP message for multicast transmission including at least part of the multicast IP address, and transmitting the multicast data based on the resource allocation MAP message.

    摘要： A method and apparatus generate a group service flow in a mobile communication system. An Advanced Mobile Station (AMS) in a mobile communication system transmits an AAI_REG-REQ message, which includes a group service request indicator indicating that it is required to generate the group service flow, to an ABS. The AMS receives an AAI REG-RSP message and an AAI_DSA-REQ message, which includes at least one of a group service flow parameter for the group service flow, a multicasting Station Identifier (STID), a multicasting flow ID, a group service flow ID, and information indicating a use of the group service flow, from the ABS. The AMS then generates the group service flow in cooperation with the ABS in accordance with the AAI_DSA-REQ message.

    摘要： A method and an apparatus for providing a Local BreakOut (LBO) service in a wireless communication system are provided. In the method for providing an LBO service in a wireless communication system, after an access authentication procedure between an authentication server and a terminal, a femto gateway receives a subscriber profile including LBO service flow information from the authentication server to provide the LBO service flow information to a femto base station through initial service flow setting between the terminal and the femto gateway. The femto base station sets an LBO service flow through a Dynamic Service Addition (DSA) procedure. The terminal performs a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) procedure through the LBO service flow setting, and obtains an IP address for LBO based on the DHCP procedure.

    摘要： In a method for providing Location Based Services (LBS) in a mobile communication system, upon receipt of a location trigger at an LS for requesting location information of an MS from a location client, the LS transmits an authentication request message for requesting an ID of an Anchor Authenticator (AA) for the MS to an Authorization, Authentication and Accounting server (AAA), which transmits an authentication response message to the LS. The LS transmits an LCID request message for requesting an LCID of an LC for the MS to the AA, which AA transmits an initiate MS paging request message to an APC. The APC detects a serving LC of the MS and transmits an LCID to the AA, which transmits an LCID response message to the LS, which transmits an MS location report request message to the serving LC. The LC transmits an MS location report response message to the LS.
