摘要: An electronic device comprises a plurality of memory components, a connector, a receiver, and a communication component. The connector is configured to operatively connect the electronic device to an external device. The external device is capable of individually recognizing the memory components one at a time or simultaneously recognizing only a few of the memory components. The receiver is configured to receive a select instruction that specifies which of the memory components will be recognized by the external device. The communication component is configured to automatically communicate with the external device to permit the external device to automatically recognize at least one of the memory components as a predefined memory component. The communication component is further configured to communicate with the external device when the receiver receives the select instruction to permit the external device to recognize at least one memory components according to the select instruction.

摘要: A control unit takes in a set temperature, a vehicle-internal temperature, an ambient temperature, an engine-water temperature, a sun load and a vehicle speed from a means for setting a temperature of the air inside a vehicle and sensors. The control unit determines whether a failure has occurred in the internal-air-temperature sensor and the external air temperature sensor. If a failure is determined in any of the sensors, the control unit fetches a substitute value registered in advance in the substitute-value table. Then, the outlet temperature as well as the difference between the vehicle-internal temperature and the set temperature are determined from the signals generated by the sensors. A driving voltage of the FAN motor and switching position of the outlet flap are subsequently computed. If a failure in either of the internal-air-temperature sensor and the external air temperature sensor is determined, an opening of the air-mix flaps is then set.

摘要: A gas oil according to the present invention comprises a gas oil fraction, and has a sulfur content not higher than 0.05 wt %, and either or both of (1) a content of bicyclic and higher aromatic hydrocarbons in a range of from 3.5 wt % to 15 wt %, bicyclic and higher aromatic hydrocarbons having at least one side-chain C.sub.3-11 alkyl group amounting to at least 80 wt % of said first-mentioned bicyclic and higher aromatic hydrocarbons, and (2) a content of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds in a range of from 80 ppm to 500 ppm, nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds having at least one side-chain alkyl group accounting for at least 90 wt % of said first-mentioned nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds. The gas oil according to the present invention, as a diesel fuel, can impart anti-wearing properties by simply adjusting its components without the need for incorporation of an additive such as an anti-wearing agent. It does not cause wearing of a fuel injection pump, has excellent storage stability and can be furnished as an economical gas oil. It can also be furnished as a gas oil suited for use especially in cold districts.

摘要: An excimer laser beam irradiation apparatus capable of processing a workpiece optimally with an excimer irradiation beam even when intensity distribution of the excimer laser beam undergone multiple reflections is non-uniform. A patterning mask has light-transmissive portions for allowing the excimer laser beam to pass through and a reflecting layer for reflecting it. A high reflectivity mirror disposed in opposition to the reflecting layer reflects the excimer laser beam reflected from the reflecting layer toward the patterning mask. An imaging lens images a pattern of the excimer laser beam transmitted through the patterning mask onto a workpiece for irradiation thereof. A workpiece moving mechanism and a mask moving mechanism move the workpiece and the mask moving mechanism, respectively. A control unit controls the workpiece moving mechanism and the mask moving mechanism such that the patterning mask and the workpiece are displaced along a same axis synchronously with each other in a scan moving direction which coincides with a direction in which the excimer laser beam shifts positionally while being reflected between the patterning mask and the reflecting means, for thereby allowing the workpiece to be scanned with the excimer laser beam. The workpiece can be processed uniformly and stably in accordance with a pattern of the patterning mask with high accuracy and reliability.
