摘要： To provide a gas sensor element having a base body whose durability is unlikely to deteriorate during the use and exhibiting excellent endurance and responsiveness.[Means for Solution] A gas sensor element 2 comprising: a closed-bottomed cylindrical base body 28 made of solid electrolyte which contains zirconia as a principal component; an outer electrode 26 formed on an outer surface of the base body 28; an inner electrode 27 formed on an inner surface of the base body 28; and an adhesive layer 29 formed between the base body 28 and the outer electrode 26 and containing zirconia as a principal component, wherein a proportion of tetragonal in zirconia particles of the base body 28 falls within the range from 45% or more to 60% or less and, wherein a proportion of tetragonal in zirconia particles of the adhesive layer 29 is greater than that of tetragonal in zirconia particles of the base body 28.

摘要： A method of and apparatus for stabilizing shredded tobacco leaves at an end of a cigarette will prevent the shredded tobacco leaves from dropping the cigarette. The method comprises the steps of: applying adhesive to a paper wrapper in the crosswise direction with a pitch identical with the length of the cigarette for form strips of an adhering portion; feeding shredded tobacco leaves on to the paper wrapper to stick the shredded tobacco leaves with the adhesive on the strips of adhering portion; forming a cigarette rod by winding the paper wrapper to bond both ends of the paper wrapper after applying adhesive to both ends of the paper wrapper; and cutting the cigarette rod at the strips of adhering portion to form a single cigarette with a given length. Further, the cigarette making apparatus for the above method is provided with an adjusting apparatus comprising: an adhesive roller having concave portions on an outer periphery thereof; an accommodating chamber for accommodating pressurized adhesive therein; and an adhesive nozzle having an opening, an end of the adhesive nozzle being in contact with the outer periphery of the adhesive roller. A position for the adhesive roller is adjusted such that positions for the concave portion to put adhesive on the paper wrapper coincides with positions cut by a cutting portion.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a pre-formation apparatus capable of making a pre-formation with highly dimensional accuracy between a film three-dimensional shape and an original design on a film, a pre-formation method and a main formation method utilizing the apparatus, and a printed film therefor. The pre-formation apparatus includes: an upper and a lower clamp members 68j which have a through hole 68a and sandwich a printed film, and a heater 70 movable to and away from a pre-forming section F for heating the printed film. A pre-forming mold 80 which pre-forms the printed film 4 via the through hole 68a, and a film die punch for punching after the pre-formation are movable to and away from the pre-forming section F. The pre-forming mold 80 includes a male mold which contacts the plasticized printed film and a female mold which mates with the male mold for a formation under vacuum. The apparatus further includes a pitch detecting section facing the pre-forming section F within a pitch of the printed film 4 in a film flow direction X for detection of a film mark M1.
