    摘要: A method and system for a cellular mobile communication system (900) are provided. The location of a mobile communication unit (905) in the cellular wireless communications system (900) can be estimated from: a first estimate of position, based on received signal power difference for signals received by the mobile communication unit (905) from at least two base stations (910); and a second estimate of the position of the mobile communication unit (905), from further information. A likelihood function for each estimate is weighted. The weighted first and second likelihood functions are combined, and one or more locations are selected as the estimated location. Propagation model parameters may be iteratively updated and/or refined, using location estimates obtained for large numbers of calls in the cellular mobile communication system (900).

    摘要: For a probe based data storage (PDS) device a ferroelectric film stack may be used as a media to store data bits by polarizing areas of the film as either an up domain or a down domain to represent bits. However a built-in-bias field (BBF) may create domain retention problems. By growing the ferroelectric films with stress and composition gradients this may generate polarization gradients which reduce the bias field. Thus, the retention (or imprint) may be improved with minimized BBF.

The capacitors may be switched to connect or disconnect selected capacitors from the sensor. Embodiments convert a two port sensor into a four port sensor without significant changes in hardware design and improve SNR and correct for offset and out-of-axis errors due to process mismatch and variations.

A first interface card is provided for receiving a request, which specifies a data session between two host devices in a network, from an adjacent node in the network, and for storing a session parameter based on the request.
