Most computer operating systems are able to automatically configure the coupled computer peripheral audio device for use with the computer operating system without the need for installation of a specific driver. However, when these computer peripheral audio devices are detected by the computing system, a generic audio device control configuration is often assigned to them and whatever customized settings previously configured by the user will be lost and replaced with a new set of unfamiliar setting. This poses much inconvenience and hassle to gamers when they use a different computing system or machine. Described according to an embodiment of the invention is a headset device and a device profile management method, operating on a computing cloud, comprising steps for receiving client data provided by a computing system detecting coupling of an audio device thereto and for retrieving configuration data corresponding to the client data for use in configuring the audio device by the computing system.

In one implementation, the methods include stacking an I/O die including I/O elements and excluding a logic element. Also in one implementation, the methods further include stacking an integrated circuit die with respect to the I/O die. The integrated circuit includes logic elements and excludes an I/O element. The separation of the I/O die from the integrated circuit die provides various benefits, such as independent development of each of the dies and more space for the I/O elements on an I/O substrate of the I/O die compared to that in a conventional die. The increase in space allows new process generation of the integrated circuit die in which an increasing number of logic elements are fitted within the same surface area of a substrate of the integrated circuit die.

A microfluidic embedded nanoelectromechanical system (NEMs) force sensor provides an electrical readout. The force sensor contains a deformable member that is integrated with a strain sensor. The strain sensor converts a deformation of the deformable member into an electrical signal. A microfluidic channel encapsulates the force sensor, controls a fluidic environment around the force sensor, and improves the read out. In addition, a microfluidic embedded vacuum insulated biocalorimeter is provided. A calorimeter chamber contains a parylene membrane. Both sides of the chamber are under vacuum during measurement of a sample. A microfluidic cannel (built from parylene) is used to deliver a sample to the chamber. A thermopile, used as a thermometer is located between two layers of parylene.
