Abstract:
A micromechanical device and a method for producing this device are provided, the device having a sensor pattern that includes a spring pattern and a seismic mass. The seismic mass may be connected to the substrate material via the spring pattern, and a clearance may be provided in a direction perpendicular to the major substrate plane between the spring pattern and the substrate material. Alternatively, the spring pattern and the seismic mass may have a common, essentially continuous, front side surface.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for dosed administration of sprayable substances, in particular aerosols, with an electronic unit for recording the administrations, and a with a first housing part that forms a seat for a container, which contains the sprayable substance and has a valve. It is characterized by a second housing part, which is movable relative to the first housing part and has an actuating part for acting on the valve in order to actuate the valve for administration of the sprayable substance, the electronic unit for recording the administrations of the sprayable substance including a switch that is actuated by the relative movement of first and second housing part.

A device for dosed administration of a sprayable substance, in particular aerosols, with an electronic unit for recording the administrations. The device includes a first housing part that forms a seat for a container, which contains the sprayable substance and has a valve. The device also includes a second housing part, which is movable relative to the first housing part and has an actuating part for acting on the valve to actuate the valve for administration of the sprayable substance. The electronic unit records the administrations of the sprayable substance and includes a switch that is actuated by the relative movement of first and second housing parts.
Abstract:
A level detection device for detecting an upper surface of a liquid at a reference level. The device includes a reservoir having a bottom wall and one or more side walls that delimit a cavity for containing the liquid; a light emitter for emitting a light beam towards this cavity; at least one reflection surface for reflecting the light beam; and a light detector for detecting the emitted light beam upon reflection. The emitter and detector are so arranged that, when the surface of the liquid passes the reference level, a state of detection of the light beam by the detector is changed. The emitter, detector and reflection surface(s) are so located and oriented relative to the cavity that the emitted light beam is: detectable by the detector upon travelling through the liquid in the cavity; and refractable at the surface of the liquid towards or away from the detector so that the state of detection is a function of such refraction.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a structural component, especially a shielding component, with structural parts (10, 12, 14, 16, 18) which are at least in part differently configurated with respect to their surface extent and/or the directional pattern, of which at least one structural part (10) of a first type is provided with a curvature and with a longitudinal orientation, and with structural parts (12) of a second type which at least in part follow the pertinent curvature. In that the structural part (10) of the first type is designed as a shell and in that the structural parts (12) of the second type combined in pairs into groups (20, 22) extend transversely to the longitudinal orientation of the structural part (10) of the first type, the edge area definitely is strengthened by way of an additional structural part which is an integral component of the shielding body and need not consist of mounting-bracket parts which are positioned on the edge side.
Abstract:
A process for manufacturing a beverage preparation machine by providing a group of interconnected components which include a brewing unit for receiving a beverage ingredient beverage and a liquid; an in-line heater for the liquid; a pump; one or more fluid connecting members; an electric control unit for receiving instructions from a user via an interface and for controlling the heater and pump; and one or more electric sensors for sensing at least one operational characteristic of the brewing unit, the heater, the pump, a liquid reservoir, an ingredient collector, a flow of the liquid, a pressure of the liquid and a temperature of the liquid and for communicating the characteristic(s) to the control unit. At least two or three modules, each containing at least two components, are preassembled such that the components are automatically seizable, orientable, positionable and fully connectable to each other.
Abstract:
A machine for preparing a liquid food or beverage, including at least one outermost machine face selected from a front face, a top face and a lateral face; a component for emitting light and a control unit connected to the light emitting component. The light emitting component has states of light emission or non-emission, and an illuminatable outer face on the outermost machine face. The control unit is arranged to detect at least one condition of such machine involving a non immediate readiness of such machine to prepare a liquid food or beverage, and to communicate this condition to a user via the illuminatable outer face by changing the state of the light emitting component. The illuminatable outer face extends in at least one direction across a substantial part of the outermost machine face and is arranged to be substantially entirely illuminated when in this state of light emission.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a beverage preparation device having a water circulation system that includes a water source with an outlet, a pump with a support member for holding and securing the pump in the device, and an integral water conduit having an inlet and outlet for guiding water from the water source to the pump. The conduit outlet is connected to the pump and the water source outlet is connected to the water conduit inlet via an annular sealing member that forms an integral protruding portion of one of the conduit inlet or the source outlet. The pump support is integral with the water conduit, in particular with the conduit outlet.
Abstract:
A beverage preparation machine that includes a housing, a pump which vibrates during use and which is mounted in the housing, and a dampener for preventing or reducing the transmission of vibrations from the pump to other machine parts. The damper includes a spring on which the pump is mounted in the housing.
