Abstract:
An embedment member of a foamed resin article such as a seat pad formed in a mold. The mold is provided with engaging projections and a pocket portion formed in or on an inner surface of a core thereof. A surface of the embedment member is positioned to face the core and the surface is superposed onto the surface of the core such that the projections enter into large opening portions. Then, the embedment member is slid in such a manner as to introduce the projections into narrow portions and wide portions, thereby retaining the embedment member to the core. In this state, an end portion of the embedment member is fitted into the pocket portion. To release the foamed resin article from the mold, the foamed resin article is slid in a direction opposite to the direction of the aforementioned sliding.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a highly safe pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating bone disease, a pharmaceutical preparation comprising thereof, a health food comprising thereof, a functional food comprising thereof. Since the present invention comprises the arylheptanoid compound shown in the following formula (I) and the derivatives thereof, it enables to prevent and/or treat the bone disease. (In the formula (I), R1 and R5 are a functional group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, alkyl group having carbon numbers 1 to 3, monosaccharide and disaccharide; R2, R3, and R4 are a functional group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an oxygen atom, alkyl group having carbon numbers 1 to 3, monosaccharide and disaccharide; R5 may be bound on meta-position against heptylene group of another aryl group to form a ring.)
Abstract:
A method for identifying the presence or absence of an aggregation of particles distributed on a translucent surface includes the steps of providing a light sensing device for sensing light incident thereon and producing an output value which represents the intensity of the incident light, and identifying a first output value which is produced by the light sensing device when there is no light incident thereon. The method also identifies a second output value which is produced by the light sensing means when, with no particles present on the translucent surface, light is directed through the translucent surface onto the light sensing device. With a distribution of particles deposited on the translucent surface, light is directed through the translucent surface and onto the light sensing device, causing the light sensing device to produce a third output value. A final output value is then determined as a function of said first, second and third output values.
Abstract:
An immunological agglutination detecting apparatus including an agglutination examination plate having one or more reaction vessels each provided with a bottom face of which at least a part is slanted. A light emitting source is arranged at one side of the agglutination examination plate. A light receiver is situated on the other side thereof. Respective images of the agglutination patterns formed on the bottom faces of the reaction vessels are focussed on the light receiver through individual lenses in order to detect, by an electrical device, the agglutination patterns which are formed by the shining light from the light emitting source. In the preferred embodiment, the light emitting source is one or more rows of primary point sources, each corresponding to a particular vessel in the plate, and one or more supplementary point sources adjacent the ends of the row or rows. The intensity of the primary and supplementary light sources can be separately adjusted.
Abstract:
The aggregation pattern of particles is determined by obtaining luminous intensity curves representative of the particle aggregation pattern, obtaining a first threshold face by cutting the curves with a plane positioned at a first given height, obtaining a second threshold face by cutting the curves with a plane positioned at a second given height and determining the particle aggregation pattern by calculating the ratio of the area of the first threshold face to the area of the second threshold face.

Abstract:
A CCD driving circuit for reading and outputting data from a plurality of CCD sensors, each CCD sensor being actuable to convert an image into data by first optically sensing the image during a first time period and thereafter converting the optically-sensed image into data during a second time period, including a driving arrangement for actuating the CCD sensors such that the first time periods associated therewith are staggered so that the second time periods associated therewith do not overlap each other. A multiplexing arrangement is provided for multiplexing and outputting the data read from each of the CCD sensors.
Abstract:

The amorphous cefditoren pivoxil composition according to the present invention comprises cefditoren pivoxil and a pharmaceutically acceptable organic polymeric compound, wherein the composition is obtainable by grinding a crystalline cefditoren pivoxil in the presence of a pharmaceutically acceptable organic polymeric compound to convert the crystalline cefditoren pivoxil to an amorphous substance.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a mold for foam molding capable of making the operation to attach a reinforcing member to an inner surface of a mold easier, capable of sufficiently preventing entry of foam synthetic resin between the reinforcing member and the inner surface of the mold at the time of foam-molding, and capable of preventing the reinforcing member from becoming wrinkled; and also provided is a method for producing a foam-molded member which has a reinforcing member using this mold for foam molding. A mold 20 for foam molding is used to foam-mold a seat pad 1 which is provided with a seat pad main body 2 and a reinforcing member 10 disposed on the back side of the seat pad main body 2. At the time of foam-molding, the reinforcing member 10 is disposed inside the mold 20 and an end edge of the reinforcing member 10 is secured to the inner surface of the mold 20 by a securing means. A tension application means is provided which applies tension to the end edge of the reinforcing member 10 in a direction to separate from the securing means.
