    摘要: The ultrasound diagnosis apparatus according to the embodiment includes an ultrasound probe that transmits and receives ultrasound waves to and from a subject, and generates and displays images of the inside of the subject based on the reception results from the ultrasound probe. The ultrasound diagnosis apparatus includes a memory, a detector, a selection part, and a processor. The memory stores association information that associates positions in real space with examination conditions including image quality conditions and/or application type. The detector detects the position of the ultrasound probe in real space. The selection part selects examination conditions corresponding to the detected position based on the association information. The processor performs processing based on the selected examination conditions.

    摘要: The light intensity of a light beam emitted from a light source is appropriately controlled when the light beam is transmitted through a variable optical coupling efficiency device in an optical head. During a read mode, the light beam from the light source is incident on an optical disk at an intensity relatively weaker than that of the light source. By switching the optical coupling efficiency of the variable optical coupling efficiency device between a write mode and a read mode, the light intensity directed to an optical recording medium is substantially varied from the write mode to the read mode. This arrangement eliminates the need for substantially increasing the optical output power ratio of the light source of write power to read power.

The optical head has a focus servo mechanism and a spherical aberration correction mechanism, irradiates a laser light, and detects a reflected light. The evaluation signal generating section generates, based on the reflected light, an evaluation signal. The focus servo section drives the focus servo mechanism according to a focus error signal to perform focus servo. The spherical aberration correction section drives the spherical aberration correction mechanism to perform spherical aberration correction. The focus bias adjuster adds focus bias to a focus loop. The system controller performs an operation for setting an adjustment spherical aberration correction value.

    摘要: To enable a physically rewritable disc to be appropriately used as a write-once type.When the rewritable disc is used in rewritable application, the position where writing of a predetermined data unit (for example, an ECC block) in data is started is set to a first position with respect to a reference position to record or play back the data. In contrast, when the rewritable disc is used in write-once application, the position where writing of the predetermined data unit in the data is started is set to a second position different from first position to record or play back the data. The position where writing of the data is started in the rewritable application is shifted from the position where writing of the data is started in the write-once application to disable rewriting of the data recorded on a rewritable recording medium when the rewritable recording medium for the write-once application is loaded in a recording-playback apparatus that does not assume the use of the rewritable recording medium in the write-once application.

    摘要: When an image creating unit creates a three-dimensional ultrasound image of a blood-vessel early phase, an operator presses an image selecting button, and selects an area to be displayed as superimposed by using an image-selecting Graphical User Interface (GUI) displayed by an image-selecting GUI display-control unit. After the image creating unit start creation of a three-dimensional ultrasound image in a late phase, when the operator presses a composition display button, the movement-distance calculating unit calculates a movement distance between a three-dimensional tissue image at the moment of the press of the composition display button and each of three-dimensional tissue images in the area to be displayed as superimposed, and an image correcting unit corrects each of three-dimensional contrast enhanced images corresponding the three-dimensional tissue images of the blood-vessel early phase by using the movement distance. An animated-image compositing unit creates a group of images for animation that the corrected three-dimensional contrast enhanced images of the blood-vessel early phase are each combined with a three-dimensional contrast enhanced image of the late phase, and a monitor displays the group of the images for animation in animation.
