    Abstract: The invention concerns an individual wheel drive with a rear-mounted planetary gear (3) for motor vehicles. A prime mover (1) or a bunched up input from several engines produces the input power. In order to design optimally the needed space for the individual wheel drive, the shaft of the prime mover or of the bunched up input is offset relative to the wheel axle. Said axle offset (20) is again compensated in the planetary gear (3) by shifting against each other the axles of the sun gear (14) and of the planet carrier (16) which drive the wheel hub (5).

    Abstract: An axle, preferably for driving a low-platform omnibus, has a bridge (15) arranged at a distance from the wheel axle. The housing (14) of a driving engine (1) is connected with the bridge (15) and with suspension elements (19), on one side of the axle, to secure the axle to the vehicle and, on the other side, with a hub carrier (8) to receive forces of the wheel.     Abstract: A device and method for implementing a hybrid drive mechanism, which stands out by a very low construction expenditure, a small need of installation space, low cost of parts and a simple and effective maneuverability. Particularly, the start and stop of the internal combustion engine should stand out by simplicity and reliability. By a development of a one clutch, hybrid drive mechanism or without an additional second clutch, the needed installation space and costs can be minimized and by control, the expenditure for and the complexity of the control or regulation of a hybrid drive mechanism are considerably reduced. An electric machine (4) is disposed between a single clutch (2) situated between the internal combustion engine and a mechanical transmission (5) so that the electric machine can transmit a positive or negative torque directly to a transmission input shaft of the mechanical transmission.
