    摘要： A method and a corresponding system are described for providing conditional notification of transaction requests. The method includes receiving a transaction request which contains information regarding an account requesting a transaction and determining if the transaction request satisfies at least one condition for providing a notification of the transaction request. If at least one condition for providing the notification is satisfied by the transaction request, a transaction notification message is generated and transmitted to a communication device assigned to the requesting account.

    摘要： An electronic message broadcasting system is provided for facilitating an online transaction between a sending party and a group of users. The system provides functionality for receiving an electronic message comprising an offer to buy or sell from the sending party and broadcasting the message to the users. The system can selectively broadcast the message to a first and/or second computing device associated with each user, depending on message forwarding preferences of each user and an online status of the first computing device associated with each user. The system can further provide functionality for selectively converting the message from an email format to a text message format in order to broadcast the message to mobile computing devices capable of receiving messages in text message format.

    摘要： An electronic matching system is provided for facilitating online transactions between buyers and sellers. Electronic buy offers and electronic sell offers received by the system can be compared and matched. The offers can be transmitted to the system through a plurality of communication media including email messaging, text messaging, and/or postings made to web sites. If matching offers are detected by the system, then the existence of the match can be communicated to a buyer/seller according to message forwarding preferences of the buyer/seller. The online status of an email computing device associated with the buyer/seller can be detected. Email messages generated by the system can be converted into text message format and received by a mobile computing device associated with the buyer/seller if the email computing device is offline.

    摘要： A system and a corresponding method are described for providing a notification of a pending transaction request and obtaining an authorization from a cardholder. The system maintains a database of account records, each of the account records including a phone number of a mobile device assigned to receive authorization request messages for the respective account. When a transaction request is received, the system determines a phone number of a mobile device assigned to receive authorization request messages for the account requesting the transaction by searching the database. The system generates and transmits an authorization request message to the phone number of the mobile device assigned to the account requesting the transaction. In response to the authorization request message, a reply message is returned from the mobile device, which explicitly indicates if a user of the mobile device approves or denies the transaction.
