    摘要: A system which detects gas leaks near devices which use “natural gas” or other flammable gases such as methane, ethane, propane or butane and implements multiple automatic responses to the detection of such leaks including emitting audible alarms, contacting utility and emergency service providers, and shutting off the flow of the flammable gases is disclosed. Optional to the system allowing the system to report on the approximate location of the leak and/or the approximate danger level caused by the leak by reporting on the gas/air ratios in the area are also disclosed. A method for implementing the method of the invention is also disclosed.

    摘要: A workstation services support structure (5) including a beam (14) supported at or near desk height on one or more legs (16) is described. The beam (14) includes one or more elongate mounting means (28, 34, 36) extending substantially along its length. Each elongate mounting means (28, 34, 36) corresponds to a zone (Zones 1 to 4) in which one or more accessories (40, 42, 44, 46) to support a workstation service can be movably mounted with respect of the beam to enable service delivery at a user selectable position within the zone. The support structure (5) includes a plurality of zones (Zones 1 to 4) that can be defined to be non-overlapping such that an accessory (40, 42, 44, 46) mounted within one zone does not interfere with an accessory mounted (40, 42, 44, 46) within another zone. Legs (1200), accessories (40, 42, 44, 46) and couplings (390) and systems (1) incorporating such elements are also described.

    摘要: Systems and methods perform a first monitoring of a printing engine to produce first data; match a disturbance model that empirically describes types of color variation in a print process to the first data; generate a minimum variance control system based on the identified parameters of the disturbance model. The systems/methods infer a benchmark performance level the minimum variance control system achieves using the disturbance model; adjust operating parameters of a controller of the printing engine to match parameters of the minimum variance control system; perform a second monitoring of the printing engine to produce second data; determine a difference value between the benchmark performance level and the second data. If the difference value is above a first value and below a second value, the process is repeated. If the difference value is above the first value and the second value, an indication that the printing engine needs servicing is provided.

    摘要: An automated license plate recognition (ALPR) system and method using a human-in-the-loop based adaptive learning approach. One or more images with respect to an automotive vehicle can be segmented in order to determine a license plate of the automotive vehicle within a scene. An optical character recognition (OCR) engine loaded with an OCR algorithm can be further adapted to determine a character sequence of the license plate based on a training data set. A confidence level with respect to the images can be generated in order to route a low confidence image to an operator for obtaining a human interpreted image. The parameters with respect to the OCR algorithm can be adjusted based on the human interpreted image and the actual image of the license plate. A license plate design can be then incorporated into the OCR engine in order to automate the process of recognizing the license plate with respect to the automotive vehicle in a wide range of transportation related applications.

    摘要: A seat assembly includes a recliner operatively coupled between a seat back and a seat cushion. The recliner is operable between locked and unlocked conditions. Pivoting a recliner handle in a first direction actuates the recliner to the unlocked condition allowing pivotal movement of the seat back between a seating position and fold flat position. Pivoting a walk-in handle in a second direction actuates the recliner to the unlocked condition allowing pivotal movement of the seat back toward an inclined dump position. Pivoting the walk-in handle simultaneously pivots an EZ-entry link from a first position to an intermediate position. With the EZ-entry link in the intermediate position, the pivotal movement of the seat back toward the dump position urges the EZ-entry link from the intermediate position to a second position wherein the EZ-entry link blocks the seat back in the dump position.

The system includes a digital switch inside a whistle connected to a Communication Pack for one or more referees and a receiver at the Control Device for the official time clock of the sports event. This system allows the referee to control the clock starting and stopping at his command rather than putting that in the hands of a local official. The control device for the official time clock receives a signal to start the clock when the communication pack signals the control device and also stops the clock when the digital whistle is blown thereby transmitting a signal to the communications pack and then to the control device thereby stopping the official time clock.

    摘要: A clock spring assembly includes a first member pivotally coupled to a second member about a pivot axis. The first member defines an inner space and the second member also defines an inner space. At least a portion of the second member is disposed within the inner space of the first member. A support member is disposed within the inner space of the second member and is coupled thereto. A pivot shaft is coaxial with the pivot axis and pivotally couples the first and second members together. A clock spring is disposed within the inner space of the second member and is wound around the support member. The clock spring extends between a first end engaged with the support member and a second end engaged with the first member. The clock spring biases the first member to pivot relative to the second member about the pivot axis.
