摘要: A device for checking the contents of a container (5) for a supply substance (8) that is not self-leveling. The device includes a stirring blade (2) that is rotatable about an axis of rotation (D) for the delivery of the supply substance (8) to a consumer (21), for example, the suction chamber (2) of a lubricating pump, and for freeing the supply substance (8) of air inclusions, with a mechanism for scraping off the supply substance (8) from the stirring blade (2) and with a measuring unit (22) for measuring the fill level of the supply substance (8) in the container (5). The region of the container bottom (9) has openings (18) for transferring the supply substance (8) in a direction toward the consumer (21) and at least one radial stationary flank (1) is disposed, at least locally, in the region of the container center and is spaced from the container bottom (9) such that the stirring blade (2) can be at least partially rotated under the radial stationary flank.

摘要: MXA Scan analysis in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention can be viewed as a process of placing points on the lateral morphometry image at the anterior, mid, and posterior positions of the inferior and superior endpoints for each vertebral body in the spinal region of interest. These point locations are then used to calculate the anterior, mid, and posterior heights of the vertebral bodies. These heights are then compared to one another and to known normal values for the heights and ratios of the heights for each vertebral body and among vertebral bodies to quantify the degree of vertebral deformity.

摘要: Fluidized powder in a powder preparation container is treated to impart to it a desired moisture content through the feeding into the fluidized powder of a stream of compressed air whose moisture content and temperature have been carefully regulated. Powder in the preparation container which has attained the desired moisture content is then transferred to a powder holding container and from there to a spraying device by which spraying device the powder is electrostatically charged and sprayed on articles. Further, the powder preparation container is heated along several distinct heating zones which are arranged one above the other along the axis, i.e. height, of the container. The powder in the powder preparation container is stratified with the powder at the bottom of the container being affected only negligibly by the continuous introduction of fresh powder through the top of the container.

摘要: A control system for a central lubrication system with an electrically operated lubrication pump for vehicles without their own power source, such as trailers, carriers for utility vehicle, etc., includes an electrical time-controlling device to activate the lubrication pump as a function of the operating time of the vehicle. Power is supplied to the time-controller device and the drive motor for the lubrication pump via the feed lines for the brake light. The time-controlling device has a sensor which detects motion of the vehicle or parts of the vehicle and generates a signal for a second timer during such motion. The second timer adds the durations of the signals sent from the sensor, compares the sum of the durations to a predefined pause time and, when the predefined pause time is exceeded, sends a signal to a third timer, which is thus enabled and in turn sends an enable signal for the activation of the drive motor of the lubrication pump during the next braking operation; the third timing signal adds the durations of successive braking operations during which the drive motor of the lubrication pump is activated, compares the sum of the durations with a predefined operating time and, upon reaching the predefined operating time, sends a signal to the second timer, whereby the enable signal sent from the second timer, and consequently also the enable signal for the activation of the drive motor of the lubrication pump, are cancelled.

摘要: A device for treating bone fractures and/or for fixing surgical implants, surgical threads or tissues in or on the bone comprising a closing element and a rivet. The rivet includes a shaft extending from a rear end to a front end coaxial to a central axis and having a through-hole extending coaxially therethrough. The shaft of the closing element is coaxially displaceable in the through-hole and the head of the closing element can be axially brought to rest on the front shaft end. The rivet also comprises at least two grooves on the outside, these grooves extending from the front shaft in the direction of the rear end, parallel to the central axis.

摘要: The invention is directed to a device for the coupling of surgical instruments and/or implants such as a drive shaft and a reamer head. The device comprises a longitudinal male connector, and a hollow coupling shank having a first bore extending therethrough for receiving the male connector. The lateral portion of the male connector includes a plurality of flat surfaces, and the first bore shank includes a plurality of wall surfaces corresponding to the flat surfaces, so that the male connector can be inserted into the first bore to form a connection which is resistant to twisting about the longitudinal axis. The male connector defines a second bore extending coaxially therethrough and includes at least one radial slot, and defining a radially elastic, compressible holding element extending from the distal end. The male connector includes at least one radially protruding latch finger; and the first bore includes at least one latch finger recess to engage the latch finger so that the male connector can be axially fixed with respect to the shank. The latch finger and recess comprise disengagement means which permit disengagement by applying a disengagement tensile force on the male connector in the proximal direction.
