Abstract:
A system for curing and consolidation of coil with insulation includes an insulation layer disposed around an electrical coil. A release layer disposed around the insulation layer. A breather layer is disposed around the release layer. A vacuum bag structure is disposed around the breather layer without using a molding structure.
Abstract:
A packaging laminate useful as a lidstock comprises first and second films, and an image between the first and second films. The first film comprises a sealant layer forming the inside surface of the first film. The first film has a free shrink at 220° F. in at least one direction of at least about 7%. The second film comprises an outside layer forming the outside surface of the second film. The outside layer comprises at least about 40% by weight of the outside layer of one or more relatively high-melt polymers each having a melting point at least about 25° F. higher than the lowest melting point polymer of the sealant layer. The second film has a free shrink at 185° F. of no more than about 10% in each of the machine and transverse directions. The outside surface of the first film is directly laminated to the inside surface of the second film. The first film has an oxygen transmission rate greater than the oxygen transmission rate of the second film. The laminate has an oxygen transmission rate of no more than about 100 cubic centimeters.
Abstract:
A multilayer film suitable for cook-in end use includes an outer layer that includes a homo- or co-polymer of propylene and, directly adhered to the outer layer, a layer that includes at least one of: (a) an ethylene/alkyl acrylate copolymer having a high melting point, (b) propylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer having a lower propylene mer content than the outer layer and having a high Vicat softening point, and (c) an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer with at least 15% vinyl acetate mer content. The film exhibits good seal strength and good adhesion between the two layers, even in areas where the film is sealed, even after the film is oriented, even when the film is subjected to the elevated temperatures involved in cook-in procedures, and even where the film is subjected to, e.g., grease from fatty foods. The film also can include one or more other layers including, for example, bulk layers, O2-barrier layers, and/or abuse layers.
Abstract:
A driver to provide low voltage swings on a bus with fast switching times, the driver comprising two pairs of pullup and pulldown nMOSFETs, each pair operated in complementary fashion to each other, each pair with a high voltage rail at a smaller voltage than the data input logic HIGH voltage, and where each substrate of the nMOSFETs are biased so as to reduce their threshold voltages.
Abstract:
A method for systems integration to create an end-to-end view includes obtaining a status of an invoice from an accounting data repository, generating a visualization for the invoice showing the status, and obtaining, from a payment system and based on the status indicating a payment on the invoice, monetary transaction records that match the invoice. The method further includes aggregating the monetary transaction records to update the status of the invoice after the status indicates the payment on the invoice, and updating the visualization with the status of the invoice to show the end-to-end view of the invoice.
Abstract:
A composite core die includes a reusable core die; and a disposable core die. The disposable core die is in physical communication with the reusable core die and surfaces of communication between the disposable core die and the reusable core die serve as barriers to prevent the leakage of a slurry that is disposed in the composite core die.
Abstract:
A composite core die includes a reusable core die and a disposable core die; where the disposable core die is in physical communication with the reusable core die; and further where surfaces of communication between the disposable core die and the reusable core die serve as barriers to prevent the leakage of a slurry that is disposed in the composite core die.
Abstract:
The surface of a dental part is scanned by a probe, to obtain a digital model of the surface in a dental CAD computer system. In the digital model, first and second boundary lines are defined, above and below a portion in which the scanned data is missing or unsatisfactory. One of the boundary lines may correspond to a margin line between prepared and unprepared portions of the patient's tooth. A transition surface is generated in the computer system, extending between the first and second boundary lines. This improves the representation of the dental part in the digital model, which may subsequently be used for manufacture of a dental restoration.
Abstract:
A method of forming an integral casting core includes adding a disposable insert to a metal core die and disposing a slurry into the metal core die. The slurry includes ceramic particles. The method further includes firing the slurry to form a integral casting core and removing the disposable insert from the integral casting core.
Abstract:
A system, method and computer program product for performance monitoring and diagnosis of a target machine, including installing a management console configured to communicate with an agent deployed on a target machine; gathering performance data of the target machine via the agent deployed on a target machine; sending via the agent deployed on a target machine the gathered performance data of the target machine to the management console at regular intervals for diagnosis; diagnosing the performance data captured at the regular intervals using a knowledge base representation technique via a diagnosis engine; and raising an alert event on the target machine depending on a criticality of the diagnosed performance data via the diagnosis engine.
