    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a power steering apparatus of a vehicle that includes: a rack housing configured to surround a rack bar and having an opening portion formed at one side thereof through which a steering shaft passes; a torque sensor cover that has a torque sensor therein and has a communicating hole formed therein through which the steering shaft passes and a first penetration portion having a first through-hole formed therein through which the fastening member passes; and a cover connecting member that has an insertion portion and a second penetration portion in order to connect the rack housing and the torque sensor cover, the insertion portion having an insertion hole formed therein where the opening portion is inserted and coupled and the second penetration portion having a second through-hole that is formed therein to correspond to the fastening hole and through which the fastening member passes.

A mold insert assembly includes, but is not limited to a driving member that moves between a retracting position and an extending position, a plurality of first-segment members engaging the driving member and moving between a first retracted position and a first extended position and a plurality of second-segment members proximate the plurality of first-segment members and configured to move between a second retracted position and a second extended position as the driving member moves to the extending position. The plurality of first-segment members and second-segment members cooperate to form a substantially liquid-tight periphery when the driving member is in the extending position. The plurality of first-segment members second-segment members are configured to move towards the first and second retracted positions, respectively when the driving member moves towards the retracting position.

    摘要: A core rod is utilized in the process of forming a core in a metal casting. The core rod has a length and opposite ends. The core rod is generally round in cross-section along at least a portion of the length of the core rod proximate at least one of the ends configured for use in forming the core of the metal casting. The core rod is made from a precipitation-hardenable alloy including about 40.0 to 75.0 wt. % Ni, about 0.0 to 25.0 wt. % Co, about 10.0 to 25.0 wt. % Cr, and about 0.0 to 20.0 wt. % Fe. A method for forming a core within a metal casting includes the steps of providing a precipitation-hardenable alloy core rod having a length and opposite ends; packing sand around at least one end of the core rod to form a sand core with core rod; placing the sand core with core rod into a mold; pouring molten metal into the mold and around the sand core with core rod; and producing a metal casting having a core and a uniform sidewall thickness in a range of +/−0.060 inches. An improved casting produced by the disclosed method and core rod is also disclosed.

The mold body is made of a steel alloy containing carbon, chromium, manganese, silicon, vanadium, and iron. A molar percentage of hydrogen in the diamond-like carbon film is in a range from 2% to 25%. The die-casting mold core has excellent mechanical hardness, good corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, long lifetime and ease of separation.

A device for circulating fluid through each chamber cools the inserts. In one preferred embodiment, the cavity and core inserts are made using a mold having a ceramic formulation including generally uniform size aggregate materials and carbon fibers. In certain embodiments, the apparatus further includes pressure bearing devices, for absorbing molding pressure during operation of the molding apparatus.
