    摘要: An image registration apparatus comprises: a features detector (34) configured to extract a two-dimensional set of features (36) from a two-dimensional image (30) and to extract a three-dimensional set of features (38) from a three-dimensional image (32); a projection processor (40) configured to project three-dimensional data into two-dimensional projection data; and a registration processor (46, 52) configured to (i) adjust parameters to register the two-dimensional set of features and the three-dimensional set of features projected by the projection processor using a projection geometry (42), and to (ii) use the adjusted parameters to register the two-dimensional image and the three-dimensional image projected by the projection processor using the projection geometry.

    摘要: A system, process and software arrangement are provided to determining data associated with at least one structural change of tissue. In particular, a first optical coherence tomography (“OCT”) signal which contains first information regarding the tissue at a first stress level, and a second OCT signal which contains second information regarding the tissue at a second stress level are received. The first and second information are compared to produce comparison information. The data associated with the at least one structural change is determined as a function of the comparison information and further information associated with (i) at least one known characteristics of the tissue and/or (ii) characteristics of an OCT system. Further, at least one optical coherence tomography (“OCT”) signal which contains information regarding the tissue can be received, and the modulus of the tissue may be determined as a function of the received at least one OCT signal.

For example, an interference between at least one first radiation associated with a radiation directed to the anatomical structure and at least one second radiation associated with a radiation directed to a reference can be detected. Three-dimensional volumetric data can be generated for the at least one portion as a function of the interference. Further, the information can be determined which is at least one geometrical characteristic and/or at least one intensity characteristic of the portion based on the volumetric data.

    摘要: System and method for enabling intra-operative selection of an image registration transformation for use in displaying a first image dataset and a second image dataset in correspondence with one another. Image dataset acquisition devices (12, 14) obtain the first and second image datasets. A similarity function indicative of a likelihood that the first and second image datasets are in correspondence with one another is computed by a processor (16) and then a ranking of each of a plurality of local maxima of the similarity function is determined. Registration transformations derived from a plurality of the local maxima are displayed on a display (18), and using a user-interface (22), a physician can select each registration transformation to ascertain visually whether it is the clinically-optimal registration transformation for subsequent use.
