摘要: A liquid acquisition layer is inserted between a porous cover sheet and an absorbent core of an absorbent article such as a disposable diaper. The liquid acquisition layer is made from polymer fibers bonded by an adhesive, with the adhesive rendered insoluble by curing. The cured adhesive has a glass transition temperature in excess of 30.degree. C. and preferably above 37.degree. C., which is normal body temperature. This allows the acquisition to remain resilient and retain void volume when heated by the body or body liquids.

摘要: The disclosure describes an absorbent core, free of wood pulp or other cellulosic materials. The core includes two thin outer layers, with at least one layer being porous and receptive to body liquids. A quantity of superabsorbent polymer particles of a particular type is provided between the outer layers and is loosely contained in individual unbonded open zones or flat closed pockets defined by a plurality of intersecting heat bond lines between the layers, with the lines defining a densified and a hot calendar-bonded fiber structure to provided wicking lines or flow zones between the pockets. The dry product is a flat, thin partial laminate.

摘要: A cleaning wipe includes a dry substrate comprising nonwoven synthetic fibers, wherein the fibers have a fineness of about 2.3 denier to about 3.3 denier; and a nonionic surfactant disposed on the dry substrate, wherein the surfactant is present on the dry substrate at an add-on level of about 0.1 weight percent to about 1.5 weight percent, based on the weight of the dry substrate, and wherein the cleaning wipe is active disinfectant stable.

摘要: A stitchboard material including an elastomeric nonwoven fibrous web, e.g., an elastomeric web of meltblown fibers, and method of forming the material, is disclosed. The material, including the elastomeric web, is stretchable and has breathability, and avoids holes through the material at the location where the stitches pass through the material. The elastomeric web can be used in combination with elongatable or gatherable webs of fibrous material to provide stitchbonded stretchable composite fabrics having desired stretch and surface characteristics, and breathability, useful as fabric for wearing apparel (e.g., stretch corduroy) or other textile uses such as draperies and other home furnishings.

摘要: A dispensing mechanism for a flexible sheet container includes a first flap having a first end portion that extends to a second end portion. The second end portion includes at least one tooth element. The dispensing mechanism also includes a second flap having a first end section that extends to a second end section. The second end section includes at least one tooth member. The at least one tooth member is off-set from the at least one tooth element.
