摘要: A control device controls operation of a brushless DC motor in such a way that the motor is started and accelerated up to a predetermined rotational speed by applying driving voltage formulated based on a synchronous signal under a startup-drive-mode and the driving mode is switched, after the predetermined rotational speed is established, to a self-controlled-drive-mode in which the driving voltage is formulated based on signals indicating an angular position of the rotor relative to the armature. In the transient period for switching-over from the start-up-drive to the self-controlled-drive, phase difference between the driving voltage and the rotor position signal is detected for a period covering more than one rotation of the rotor, the switching-over is carried out only when the phase difference is sufficiently small to avoid a motor stall or an excessive shock. Preferably, a pulse-width-modulated voltage is used as the driving voltage, so that the phase difference can be controlled by changing a duty ratio of the driving voltage.

摘要: The present invention relates to heating cookers, particularly to a structure for ventilation and cooling of microwave ovens employing a range hood. The structure according to the present invention enhances the ventilation airflow and capacity of a heating chamber by enlarging diameter of a ventilating fan by forming a recess on an upper wall of the heating chamber and by disposing the ventilating fan in the recess. Also, an improvement in ventilation efficiency is achieved by disposing the ventilating fan of a larger diameter at either or both ends of a wave-guide, and dividing the airflow path into an evenly well balanced plurality of airflow paths. Moreover, an openable door is attached to either or both of an exhaust opening and an intake opening for the air to pass through an inner surface of the door, thereby keeping the soiled surface inconspicuous. Furthermore, a cooling fan for a machinery compartment is disposed on an upper part of the machinery compartment in order to widen the airflow path for further improvement of the cooling and ventilation efficiency.

摘要: To prevent a thermal medium from assuming a superheated state and to stably supply hot air for warming in an apparatus which performs warming by a combustion heater. A hot-water recirculation path connecting a hot-water heater core, water pump, cooler for a motor for running use and an inverter device, first switching valve, and combustion heater in a closed loop is provided. A temperature sensor is disposed at an intermediate location in the hot-water recirculation path. A heat-radiating passage having a second switching valve and radiator is connected to the hot-water recirculation path. During heating operation, an ECU closes the second switching valve and switches off a radiator fan when a detected temperature of the first temperature sensor is less than a set temperature for radiating heat, and opens the second switching valve and switches off the radiator fan when the detected temperature of the first temperature sensor is the set temperature for radiating heat or more.

摘要: An arousal level judging apparatus has a skin potential level (SPL) detection device, a potential change detection device for detecting occurrance and convergence of a pulse of the signal from the SPL detection device, the pulse being caused by skin potential response (SPR), a storing device for storing the SPL value as a reference value, and a comparator for comparing SPL with the reference value to detect a SPL decrease to detect an arousal level decrease of a driver, etc. The reference value is renewed at every occurrance of SPR. When the SPL value indicates that the arousal level of the driver has been decreased, an alarm is caused to wake the driver up.

摘要: A cooking apparatus comprising a rotary table disposed inside a heating chamber so as to mount food to be heated, and a motor which rotates the rotary table. The rotary table and the motor are integrally supported in a floating state by a resilient member, thereby allowing the food and the rotary table to vibrate or move vertically. This vertical vibration or movement is measured by employing a detector, and the weight of the food is measured from the output of the detector. The rotary table is provided with a biasing means interlocked with a door for regulating the height of the rotary table or stabilizing the same when the door is opened. In the case where the vibration of the rotary table is particularly detected, the rotary table is forced to vibrate by the action of the biasing means thereby allowing highly accurate measurement of the weight of the food. The output of the heating source, the heating mode and the heating time are controlled in correspondence with the measured weight of the food, and it is therefore possible to improve the cooking apparatus such that it is conveniently used and to realize a finely controlled heating operation.

摘要: In a driving system for vehicles having a high voltage main battery for a vehicle drive motor and a low voltage accessory battery for accessory devices such as a radio receiver, a three-phase inverter circuit for driving the vehicle drive motor and a DC-DC converter are connected to the main battery through electromagnetically shielded high voltage power lines. The DC-DC converter supplies a low voltage electric power to a driver circuit for switching on and off the inverter circuit. Switching noise voltages caused by switching operations in the inverter circuit, the driver circuit and the DC-DC converter are restricted from being superimposed on low voltage power lines connecting the accessory battery to the accessory devices.

摘要: An air conditioning apparatus includes an air duct having an inlet and an outlet supplying conditioned air, and an air conditioner for cooling and heating air using a refrigeration cycle. In the refrigeration cycle, the air conditioner includes a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger disposed on a downstream side of the first heat exchanger, and a compressor. The air conditioner selectively operates in a cooling mode where cool air cooled by the first heat exchanger is supplied through the outlet of the air duct, in a heating mode where hot air heated by the first heat exchanger is supplied through the outlet of the air duct, and in a dehumidifying mode where air cooled by the first heat exchanger and subsequently heated by the second heat exchanger is supplied through the outlet of the air duct. In order to prevent frosting of the heat exchanger functioning as an evaporator, a temperature sensor just downstream of the first heat exchanger in conjunction with a timer and control arrangement increase the evaporator temperature if it is below a set lower limit for a set period of time.CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
