摘要： A portable lightweight sun blocking shade system designed to provide freedom of movement under the shaded area, with a fast deployment and a safe fabric release under high wind conditions. To make shade over a desired area, position the holder apparatus to block sun, suspend the closed umbrella shade apparatus at the overhead hanger, open the suspended umbrella with a simple vertical lift of the lower handle to lock at the center shaft. To store shade, simply unlock the open umbrella with a push of the handle button, allow gravity to lower the handle, and remove the closed shade from the hanger. The holder apparatus can be left in place, or quickly removed for complete shade system storage.

摘要： An apparatus for securing and locking shipping and storage totes and containers. An elongated locking strip with an insertion or pull end, a stop tab end, and a medial compression locking element is inserted at the insertion end into and through matching holes or slots in the lid or top of the tote or storage container, The strip is pulled so that the compression locking element passes through the holes or slots, with the stop tab end preventing the strip from completely passing through. Once in place, the configuration of the compression locking element prevents the apparatus from being pulled back through the holes or slots in reverse, thereby securing the top or lid, or portion of the top or lid, to the body of the container or tote. To open the container, the stop tab is removed, such as by twisting or cutting.

摘要： A curling broom includes an elongate shaft having opposed first and second ends, the first end being graspable by a sweeper and being attached to a broom head attachment plate located at the second end. A curling broom head is attached to the broom head receptacle for sweeping an ice surface. The broom head includes a base section, a reflective constituent selected to reflect infrared radiation which can be a layer secured to a bottom surface of the base section, or the top of the woven fabric or both or a reflective powder incorporated into a foam pad attached to the base section, (or the foam pad being metalized), or an outer surface of an outer fabric layer being metalized and secured to the base section. Infrared radiation generated by sweeping the ice is reflected by the reflective layer back towards the ice surface for further heating the ice surface.

The sonic horn vibrates to bond/weld headliner to trim ring. Energy directors can be added to facilitate bonding/welding process. Fasteners can also be added for attachment to the vehicle body. This bonding/welding of the headliner to trim ring creates a smooth, molded look for the trim ring and does so without gapping to or sliding within the headliner.

An edge modification signal is generated. The image is displayed on a display having a second aspect ratio with the top and bottom edge modified in accordance with the edge modification signal. Accordingly, burn lines are minimized through use of the edge modification signal to reduce brightness levels at the top and bottom edge of the image.

摘要： A multi-layer electrostatic dissipative structure that is clear to translucent, washable and thermo-formable comprises at least one outer layer and a core layer. Preferably, two outer layers are utilized with the core layer sandwiched therebetween. The outer layers are a blend of amorphous or semi-crystalline copolyester and an electrostatic dissipative polymer in an amount sufficient to impart a surface resistivity of about 10.sup.5 to 10.sup.12 Ohms/sq. The core layer is a polymer having a haze value of less than five percent, preferably amorphous or semi-crystalline copolyester. The multi-layer structure may additionally have tie layers between the core layer and each of the outer layers.
