摘要： A communication apparatus includes a wireless module configured to execute communication with a communication terminal; a host system including a communication controller configured to control the communication with the communication terminal executed by the wireless module; an updater configured to update information used for the communication, at predetermined updating timings; and an operation status controller configured to control an operation state. The communication apparatus further includes a sub-system configured to send, to the operation status controller, a report indicating that an updating time period has elapsed from the updating timing of the information. The operation status controller causes the host system to return to a regular mode, upon receiving the report indicating that the updating time period has elapsed while the host system is in an energy saving mode.

摘要： In a method of testing an electrode structure in which a plurality of electrodes are arranged in a matrix, a test unit is positioned at a position of a target one of the plurality of electrodes apart from the target electrode by a preset distance. The test unit has a MISFET having a source, a gate and a drain. Then, a first voltage is applied to the target electrode such that a gate voltage is induced at the gate by electrostatic induction. Also, a second voltage is applied to at least one of the source and the drain such that current flows between the source and the drain based on the gate voltage. Then, a value of the current is examined to determine an electrical connection state of the target electrode.

摘要： A roof antenna capable of receiving three kinds of bands, i.e., a FM radio band, an AM radio band, and a wireless-telephone band, includes an antenna element 10 having a structure that a conductor 15 winds around the insulator 16 in the form of a coil. A molded portion 14 is formed at the bottom of the antenna element, in which a trap coil is inserted. The electric length from the antenna top 11 to the internal metal fitting 17 at the lower end of the antenna element 10 is about a quarter of a FM radio wave. The electric length from the internal metal fitting 17 to the lower end of the trap coil 12 is about a quarter of a wireless telephone wave. A cover 19 supporting a basal part of the antenna element installs the first substrate 20 and the second substrate 21. The first substrate 20 and the second substrate 21 have a matching circuit, branching filters, and amplifiers.

The apparatus includes a working head vertically moved between a raised working position where the working head applies the working upon the work from beneath and a lowered rest position. A lifting device disposed beside the working head in the lowered rest position moves the working head up and down. An operating device is also disposed beside the working head in the lowered rest position. The operating device is displaced sideways to be brought into cooperation with the working head in the working position and operates the working head to apply the working to the work.
