    摘要: In some embodiments, an insulated gate bipolar transistor includes a drift layer, insulation gates formed at a principle surface portion of the drift layer, base regions formed in a between-gate region, an emitter region formed in the base region so as to be adjacent to the insulation gate, an emitter electrode connected to the emitter region, a collector layer formed at the other side of the principle surface portion of the drift layer, and a collector electrode connected to the collector layer. The conductive type base regions are separated with each other by the drift layers, and the drift layer and the emitter electrode are insulated by an interlayer insulation film.

    摘要: By integrating a diode and a resistor connected in parallel into the same chip as an IGBT and connecting a cathode of the diode to a gate of the IGBT, the value of dv/dt can be limited to a predetermined range inside the chip of the IGBT without a deterioration in turn-on characteristics. Since the chip includes a resistor having such a resistance that a dv/dt breakdown of the IGBT can be prevented, the IGBT can be prevented from being broken by an increase in dv/dt at a site (user site) to which the chip is supplied.

The method comprises a reset step Trs, a selection step Ts, an evolution step Trt and a display step Ti, and the selection step comprises a selection pulse application step Tsp, and a pre-selection step Tsz and a post-selection step Tsz′ respectively before and after the selection pulse application step Tsp. The ratio of the length of the selection pulse application step Tsp to the length of the selection step Ts is changed with changes in temperature, and thereby, the temperature dependency of the responsibility of liquid crystal is compensated.

    摘要: An information processing system comprising a communication terminal and an information processing device that allow communication therebetween. The communication terminal includes: a remote controlling part for acquiring an operation screen image, with which the user makes remote operation of the information processing device; and a cloud service connecting part for connecting to a service providing server providing a cloud service over a network, and acquiring a display screen image for using the cloud service from the service providing server in response to user's instruction, thereby causing the acquired display screen image to be displayed on the display part together with the operation screen image. The remote controlling part sends connecting information for connecting to the service providing server to the information processing device. The remote controlling part switches the display screen image displayed by the cloud service connecting part to the display screen image acquired by the information processing device.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a liquid crystal display apparatus comprising: a liquid crystal display element composed of a liquid crystal layer and having a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix pattern; and a driver for dividing one frame into plural fields and interlace-scanning the plurality of fields. In one embodiment, the driver is so structured to drive the respective fields composing one frame so that a scanning order of the fields is discontinued at least once. In another embodiment, the driver is so structured to drive scanning lines by means of a driving waveform having a reset period for resetting a state of liquid crystals, a selection period for selecting a final display state of the liquid crystals, and a maintaining period for establishing the state selected at the selection period, and starts scanning of next field based on reset period end timing of one scanning line of the previous field.
