Abstract:
A cooking appliance is provided comprising a grill unit having one or more heating units, a sump basin for collecting grease and other fluids used or generated during the cooking process, a drain opening disposed in the sump basin pan for allowing for the removal of fluid materials from within the basin, and a grease drain conduit extending from the drain opening of the sump basin to a grease receptacle. The grease drain conduit is disposed in sufficient heat-transfer relationship with the cooking unit to maintain the grease and other fluids traveling within the conduit in a flowing state to assist in the prevention of the grease coexisting and thereby obstructing the drain conduit.
Abstract:
A system and method of intubating a patient includes an intubating body. A user-control at or associated with the proximal end of the body allows both display of patient oral cavity anatomy and control of orientation of a stylet guide at or near the distal end of the body. The combination assists a user to effectively intubate the patient even if the patient has difficult anatomy.
Abstract:
A modular barrel and screw assembly for use in injection molding including a barrel having a barrel body, a separate barrel injection portion and a separate barrel end cap, with the barrel end cap being removably connected to the barrel injection portion and the barrel injection portion being removably connected to the barrel body, and a screw assembly having a screw tip assembly removably connected to a screw portion, wherein an injection chamber having a shot volume is defined by the barrel injection portion, the barrel end cap and the screw tip assembly. The modular barrel and screw assembly enables servicing of the barrel injection portion, barrel end cap and/or screw tip assembly without requiring removal of the barrel body, and enables use of a plurality of alternative corresponding separate barrel injection portions, separate barrel end caps and tip assemblies that provide a plurality of different shot volumes.
Abstract:
A material feed system for solid freeform fabrication. The build material is delivered in discrete or quantized amounts by a clamp feed system in a non-flowable state to the dispensing device and the material is then changed to a flowable state prior to being dispensed. The feed system can be used to build three-dimensional objects in color, if desired. The clamped feed system is integrated with a waste removal system.
Abstract:
A by-product waste material removal system for solid deposition modeling. As excess build and support material is removed during the build as a by-product waste the removal system collects the by-product waste material into a waste receptacle for disposal. The by-product waste material removal system requires no mechanical systems.

Abstract:
A Rankine Expander System that converts low quality heat (heat usually at temperatures below 400 degrees Celsius) to electricity by using the properties of trans-critical CO2. The system is comprised of a compressor, an expander, three heat exchangers, and a permanent magnet alternator (PMA). It operates at pressures and temperatures that hold the CO2 above its critical point for the full cycle, and as such, attains high efficiencies even at low power. Under some conditions the efficiency can exceed 50%.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a system and method for firearm storage; and more particularly, a safe and secure handgun mini-vault apparatus for a loaded handgun that allows an authorized user rapid, unobstructed and effortless access to the handgun. The handgun mini-vault system of the present invention not only provides for relative ease of assembly and aesthetically appealing appearance, it also permits access to the handgun without the need to manually manipulate a locking device. The locking system of the present invention utilizes RFID technology to allow authorized users to open the mini-vault by simply waiving an RFID chip in proximity to the mini-vault interrogator.
