摘要: A support frame assembly mounted to a narrow track vehicle to enhance stability during turns is provided. The support frame assembly includes a pivot frame assembly coupled to the narrow track vehicle and having a horizontal beam connected to a vertical beam, the horizontal beam supporting the seat of the narrow track vehicle thereon, a fixed frame assembly coupled to the narrow track vehicle and having a horizontal beam pivotably mounted to the vertical beam of the pivot frame assembly, and a pair of struts coupled to the pivot frame assembly and fixed frame assembly. The pair of struts apply counteracting forces on the vertical beam of the pivot frame assembly in response to pivotal movement of the pivot frame assembly relative to the fixed frame assembly.

摘要: An engineered, flood resilient, magnetically adhered, interior wall panel and trim system is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the system includes galvanized steel mounting strips, magnetically adhered receiver trims, base and chair rail moldings, inside and outside corner trims with receivers, and a plurality of magnetically adhered, tongue and grooved wall panels. The system components are manufactured from waterproof, mold and mildew resistant, insect proof, and recyclable materials, and due to the magnetically adhered attachment system, the present invention's resilient characteristics enable quick and easy removal and re-installation, in the wake of recurring flood events, by those skilled in the art, without the need for nails, fasteners or power tools.

摘要: This invention is a novel method for analysis of data that is produced by test equipment. The preferred embodiment is data produced by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) equipment, using industry standard methods to generate the initial data from the test equipment. The invention is a method for processing of the data to promptly produce accurate, reliable, and meaningful data that can be used for critical decisions. The unique benefit of the method is to correct the multiple measurement and calculation errors that are inherent in the operation of laboratory equipment. Prior methods result in errors based on circumstances that are difficult to control, accuracy-related errors in machine measurements, and fundamental mathematical errors in the data processing software that is used with the laboratory equipment. As an added benefit, this novel method allows comprehensive simultaneous measurement and calculation of correlation of any and all peptide pairs in a single measurement, with the capability to support repeated measurements with changed conditions over time. This novel method allows robust, detailed, and comprehensive measurements of peptide activity and function, which results in substantial improvements over prior methods in accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.

摘要: Described herein is a two-stage reforming process using a unique configuration which allows the reforming unit to operate at a higher naphtha feed rate as compared to conventional reforming configurations. In the unique reforming process described herein, a naphtha feedstock undergoes a distillation step prior to the first reforming stage. The distillation step separates the naphtha feedstock into a top light C6/C7 stream, which typically accounts for between 5 and 20 percent of the overall feedstock, and a C8+ stream. The C8+ stream undergoes reforming in a first stage consisting of at least one reactor containing conventional metallic reforming catalyst, under conditions sufficient to convert the C8+ stream into a first intermediate reformate. The C6/C7 stream, bypasses the first stage and is combined with the intermediate reformate, and reformed in the second stage, at lower pressure than in the first stage, over a reforming catalyst containing a medium pore zeolite.

摘要: In one aspect, the present invention is directed to methods for extracting rare earth metals from ores comprising reduction of rare earth metal oxyfluorides. In another aspect, the invention relates to an apparatus for extracting rare earth metals from ores comprising reduction of rare earth metal oxyfluorides. The methods and apparatuses described herein generate rare earth metals from ores with reduced requisite pre-removal of metal oxides found as natural impurities in ores.
