    摘要: A system for removably attaching a decorative element to a garment or other accessory, including a panel bearing a graphic design, and a pair of mounting pads to which the panel can be attached. First and second pin members are disposed at opposing edges of the panel, each pin member having a pin extending for a length parallel to that edge. The mounting pads are attachable to a garment or accessory item. Each mounting pad has a longitudinal tunnel suitable to accommodate one of the pins. The mounting pads may be attached on the outside of an article, or on the interior of an article so that only the tunnel is exposed at the exterior of the article, in a recessed manner. The system allows a decorative panel to be interchangeably facilitates their attachment to a wide range of apparel and accessory items.

    摘要: A treatment system and method is disclosed for heat treating aggregate, for example, an aggregate dryer of the type which uses a burner and rotating drum for veiling aggregate into a thermal flow path. The invention provides a plurality of mixers which safely mix fuel and oxidant into a premix which is delivered to a reaction chamber The premix is combusted and recirculated within the reaction chamber to insure uniform and complete combustion, resulting in lower emissions of pollutants such as carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds, and nitrogen oxides and also lower combustion roar. This uniform and complete combustion results in a more uniform thermal profile within the rotating drum, resulting a greater throughput of processed aggregate and a more efficient consumption of energy. The invention also includes a "tunability" feature for varying the delivery of fuel to the burner in order to avoid resonant vibration produced by a matching of the combustion frequencies with the natural frequency of the treatment system.

    摘要: A method delivers fuel gas to a furnace combustion chamber from a premix burner having a reaction zone with an outlet to the furnace combustion chamber. This includes the steps of injecting a premix of primary fuel gas and combustion air into the reaction zone, and combusting the premix to provide combustion products including vitiated combustion air in the reaction zone. Further steps include injecting staged fuel gas into the reaction zone separately from the premix, discharging the staged fuel gas and vitiated combustion air from the reaction zone through the outlet to the furnace combustion chamber, and combusting the staged fuel gas and vitiated combustion air in the furnace combustion chamber. This enables low NOx combustion in the furnace combustion chamber to be achieved as a result of interacting the staged fuel gas with the vitiated combustion air in the reaction zone.
