摘要: The present teachings relate to methods, compositions, and kits for detecting one or more target polynucleotide sequences in a sample, and methods compositions and kits for forming concatameric ligation products. In some embodiments of the present teachings, oligonucleotides are hybridized to complementary target polynucleotides and are ligated together to form a concatameric ligation product. In some embodiments of the present teachings, the concatameric ligation product can be amplified, and the identity and quantity of the target polynucleotides determined based on sequence introduced in the ligation reaction. Some embodiments of the present teachings provide methods for removing unligated probes from the reaction mixture. Some embodiments of the present teachings provide for highly multiplexed detection, identification, and quantification of a plurality of target polynucleotides using a variety of analytical procedures.

摘要: There is disclosed a method of reducing banding problem in multi-diode raster scanning systems. In this invention a test mode is provided for measuring and adjusting the output power of the laser diodes. During the test mode an individual patch is used for the light beam of each diode to individually measure and adjust the output power of each laser diode. By individually adjusting the output power of each laser diode to a required level, the banding problem is substantially reduced.

摘要: A raster scanner system is disclosed which utilizes a pair of binary diffraction optic lenses to correct non-uniformity of the flux of a light beam received by a facet of a rotating polygon. Since the facet is rotating and the direction of the light is constant, the amount of the light (flux) which the facet receives in each position from the start of scan to the end of scan and in any position therebetween is different. Also, the light beam striking the rotating facet has a Gaussian distribution which is a contributor to the non-uniformity of the flux over one scan line. The binary diffraction optic lenses of this invention reprofiles the Gaussian distribution into a profile in which the intensity of the light beam gradually increases as the facet rotates to provide a uniform flux for the entire scan line.

摘要: A method provides flow to multiple channels in an endoscope during an endoscope decontamination procedure. A member is inserted into a chamber in a body of an endoscope through an opening into the chamber, the chamber being intersected by a first lumen and a second lumen. The member separates fluidly the first lumen from the second lumen. Fluid is flowed through a first channel through the member into the first lumen and through a second channel through the member into the second lumen. Additional lumens can be so treated at the same time. Fluids can include detergents and other cleaning fluids, disinfectants and sterilants.
