    摘要: A dielectric line switch is provided which is capable of easily controlling the propagation of an electromagnetic wave. Also provided is an antenna device employing said dielectric line switch. As an embodiment of the invention, a plurality of dielectric lines and a plurality of primary radiators are provided on a rotary unit. With the rotation of the rotary unit, the dielectric lines are switched ON and OFF by virtue of mechanical means, so that a desired change-over may be effected among the plurality of primary radiators in a time sharing manner, and the positions of the primary radiators may be shifted within a plane of the focal point of a dielectric lens, thereby enabling the transmission wave beam and/or reception wave beam to scan in a desired manner.

    摘要: The present throttle controller may generate the exact driving force to hold the target position between the fully closed and the fully opened positions of the throttle valve since a position holding factor is calculated based on the target position. Accordingly, the throttle valve may hold at the target position without any help of reduction mechanism between the motor and the throttle valve. Further, the position holding factor takes a larger value than that of the actual position while the target position is more opened than the actual positron. Such larger position holding factor boosts the throttle valve to promptly reach the target position. On the contrary, the position holding factor takes a smaller value than that of the actual position while the target position is more closed than that of the actual position. Such smaller position holding factor also boosts the throttle valve to reach the target position promptly. Accordingly, in the present invention, the throttle valve may settle at the target position promptly.

    摘要: A coordinate input device with display includes a tablet having a plurality of parallel X-direction magnetostrictive transmission mediums, a plurality of parallel Y-direction magnetostrictive transmission mediums superposed on, and substantially orthogonal to the X-direction mediums thereto, and first and second coils wound around the magnetostrictive transmission mediums. The device further includes a plurality of biasing magnetic means for applying a biasing magnetic field to portions of the magnetostrictive transmission mediums surrounded by the first and second coils, and a tabular display superposed on the tablet and having a display area substantially equal to the position detection area on the tablet. A magnetic pen is used to cause a local increase of electro-mechanical coupling coefficient in the magnetostrictive transmission mediums in the tablet. The device further has an apparatus for recording in hard copy form the data corresponding to the appointed coordinate values, made by the magnetic pin on the display and can be visually checked.
