摘要: The present invention relates to a washing device. The washing device comprises: a case; a tub supported by the case, the tub having a laundry entrance hole for taking laundry in or out in a front portion thereof and an external-air inflow hole for introducing external air therethrough; an external-air inflow tube passing through the case and connected to the external-air inflow hole so as to guide the external air outside the case into the external-air inflow hole; a drum having a laundry entrance hole corresponding to the laundry entrance hole of the tub, the drum being rotatably installed within the tub; a shaft connected to a rear portion of the drum; a bearing housing rotatably supporting the shaft; and a suspension assembly for decreasing the vibration of the drum and of a driving part comprising a motor for rotating the shaft. Thus, the washing device may be structured for increased washing capacity, and a pressurized environment within the tub may be improved so as to prevent the drum from being moved forward.

摘要: A method, system and apparatus for determining and modifying saliency of a visual medium are provided. The method, system and apparatus may obtain saliency values for a visual medium based on a plurality of visual channels. The saliency values may be obtained based on at least one of computer-generated modeling, user-specified input and eye-tracking. The method, system and apparatus may aggregate the obtained saliency values and classify regions of the visual medium based on the aggregated saliency values. The visual channels may include one or more of absolute mean curvature, a gradient of mean curvature, a gradient of color intensity, color luminance, color opponency, color saturation, lighting and focus. When calculating mean curvature, the method, system and apparatus may calculate a change in mean curvature for a plurality of vertices around a region and displace the vertices in accordance with the calculated change in mean curvature to change a saliency of the region.

摘要: A system for automatically locating positions on an object and uniquely identifying the object employing an electronic tag positioned in or on the object. The system utilizes a plurality of sensors to locate the electronic tag and identify the object, and triangulation techniques to locate positions on the object where the object may be manipulated according to instructions coded with respect to the positions. Advantageously, the present invention may be used for automatically locating specimens on a microscope slide without regards to their positions on the slide, and for uniquely labeling a microscope slide.
