A deproteinized natural rubber substantially free from any protein and a process for producing the same which comprises treating a latex with a protease and a specific surfactant or a combination of specific surfactants and separating rubber particles are disclosed. A method for elevating the green strength of a natural rubber and a method for lowering the green strength of a natural rubber are also disclosed. Furthermore, a means for preventing allergy induced by natural rubber is also disclosed.

An agricultural chemical composition which can be safely applied to crops without causing any chemical damage; comprising a mixture, which exerts excellent potentiating effects on various agricultural chemicals, of compounds represented by the following general formula (I) and having (n1+n2+n3) and (n4+n5+n6) each being a number of 0 to 100 on the average, and an agricultural chemical, wherein the weight ratio of the mixture to the agricultural chemical ranges from 0.1 to 50: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represent a straight-chain or branched alkyl, alkenyl or hydroxyalkyl group having from 1 to 30 carbon atoms.

A biocide composition comprising(A) 1 to 50% by weight of a biocide, and(B) 0.005-60% by weight of a biocide activator having the specific formula is provided. The biocide effect of a biocide can be enhanced with the use of an effective amount of a biocide activator.

A cleanser composition comprising an alkylphosphate type surfactant and an ether acetic acid type surfactant represented by the following formula (3): R.sup.4 --O--(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.p --CH.sub.2 CO.sub.2 X.sup.3(3) wherein R.sup.4 represents an alkyl or alkenyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, X.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, a triethanolammonium group or an ammonium group, and p represents a number of 3 to 15. The cleanser composition is excellent in cleansing property of the skin and hair, and low irritant. Further, even when the cleanser composition contains a phosphate salt in a concentration of 30% by weight or above, the viscosity of the composition is not increased and the incorporation of a third component thereinto is easy.

A composition for use in the oral cavity is disclosed. The composition comprises (A) an antibacterial compound represented by the following general formula (1),A.sup.m+ .multidot.X.sub.m.sup.- (1)wherein A.sup.m+ is a nitrogen-containing antibacterial cation and the counter anion X.sup.- represents a monoalkyl phosphate ion, a monoalkenyl phosphate ion, a monoalkyl phosphonate ion, or a monoalkenyl phosphonate ion having a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group with 8 to 20 carbon atoms, and m is a valence of the cation A, and (B) a vehicle for use in the oral cavity. It exhibits a remarkablely rapid and continued disinfection effect action against oral cavity bacteria, while providing a good taste. Its disinfection effect is not reduced in the presence of surfactants. In addition, it does not color the tooth.

There are provided an effect enhancer for an agricultural chemical and an a chemical formulation which is not pharmaceutically harmful to various crops and can be safely used and which has an excellent effect enhancing function to various agricultural chemicals. The effect enhancer for the agricultural chemical comprises, as an effective component, a compound represented by the following formula (I): R—O[(EO)x(PO)y](EO)z—H, wherein EO is an oxyethylene group; PO is an oxypropylene group; R is a straight-chin or branched alkyl group or alkenyl group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms; x is a value of 1 to 30 on the average; y is a value of 1 to 30 on the average, and z is a value of 1 to 30 on the average. The agricultural chemical formulation composes the above-mentioned surfactant and a technical grade of active ingredient or an active compound for an agricultural chemical.

This cleanser composition is lowly irritant to the skin etc., and excellent in lathering property, gives creamy foam in quality, and can give an excellent feeling to the skin cleansed even when it is used in hard water.
