摘要: A light guide plate capable of omitting use of a directional sheet such as a prism sheet as much as possible and ensuring a viewing angle without decreasing brightness in the vertical direction. A light guide plate 1 is used for an edge-light surface illuminant device 10. The light guide plate comprises an emission plane 6, a bottom plane 7 facing the emission plane 6 and an incident end face 8 which enters light emitted from a primary light source 4 provided in a side face between the emission plane 6 and the bottom plane 7. Each of the emission plane 6 and the bottom plane 7 comprises a pattern having convex portions and/or concave portions formed at predetermined pitches. The pattern formed on the emission plane 6 is orthogonal to the incident end face 8 and also the pattern formed on the bottom plane 6 is parallel to the incident end face 8. The emission plane 6 or the bottom plane 7 comprises a trapezoidal convex portion 2 and a trapezoidal concave portion 3 which are alternately arranged. If a diffusion treatment is performed on the surface of each of the convex portions 2, the light guide plate which has reduced glare on the surface and has a superior surface quality can be obtained.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a resin-forming mold having high releasability and permitting a production without increasing production costs. The resin-forming mold can be used to produce a resin-molded product having minute uneven portions on a front face thereof, such as a surface light source device-use light guide for a liquid crystal display, an aspherical micro-lens, micro-Fresnel lens and an optical disk. In the stamper (resin-forming mold) 10 provided with an electroformed layer 11 and a conductive film 12 formed on the electroformed layer 11, the front face layer 12c of the conductive film 12 is formed of aluminum and a back face 12d is formed of nickel as an electroconductive metal. In addition, the constituent composition of the aluminum and the nickel continuously changes from the front face 12c toward the back face 12d. The front face 12c may be formed of aluminum and oxygen. The aluminum may combine with the oxygen to form an oxide of aluminum.

摘要: In a transmission type screen and other optical devices formed by combining optical sheets such as a Fresnel lens sheet and a lenticular lens sheet, the generation of stray light and defective appearance caused by a friction-reducing agent are prevented. In the optical devices such as a transmission type screen 3 formed by combining a plurality of optical sheets such as a Fresnel lens sheet 1 and a lenticular lens sheet 2, a friction-reducing agent 20 is provided on a surface of at least one of the optical sheets at a thickness of 0.3 nm or more to 10 nm or less. A coating applicator 30 for the friction-reducing agent 20 includes: a transfer roller 31; coating liquid-supplying means 32 for supplying the coating liquid 20 to the transfer roller 31; and scraping means 35 for adjusting the thickness of the coating liquid 20 adhering to the transfer roller 31. In the coating liquid 30, the surface roughness Ra (JIS B 0601-1982) of the transfer roller 31 is set to 0.01 to 1 μm.
